Iam not so much of a collector as I am a knife maker. I started making knives in 1984 and have been going strong ever since. I started my company Smitty's Designs LLC about 10 years ago and make my knives as Smitty 1 of 1.
hey Jimmie, i think the best thing we can do as knife makers is to share our knowledge! the shortcuts that you have i might not have thought of, and vise versa! a common interest is what we have, a common knowledge is what we are after!
iam looking forward to chatting with you more!
if there is any way i can help, just let me know!!!
Welcome To iKC…… Please visit often and you cannot contribute too much to the discussions, questions, knowledge base or photos…. If you have a passion for knives you have found a home. Great folks, always willing to help regardless if you are a tactical fan, folder fan, custom fan or maker… there’s something here, especially great knives and a support network to help you hone your collection, trade your collection or broaden your collection… AND yes I have the hat on so I can be more like our beloved leader Scott!
Your web page looks real nice. Might have to talk real soon.
Check out my blog "Smith" to get a chuckle.
Seems that most thirds drop them after the Jr's pass. Still use it, but not as much as before.
Welcome, once again, to the site.
