Hey Edward. Just stopped by to welcome you to our community. Your quote is dead (no pun intended) on!!
Sorry about your break-in. That is every collectors fear.
Make yourself at home. Got some great knife folks here ready to talk and show knives.

Trent thanks for the get back. You are half there with having the W77 and I will keep my eye out for you. Are you interested in any other Western knives ? I have quite a few older Western folders that I am selling. Let me know . Thanksd ED
If you are still looking for Western Boot Knives I have a few that I will part with. W-77 for $75 + shipping. W-75 for $60 + shipping. Very rare Western Westmark boot knife for $80 + shipping. If you are interested let me know and I will dig them out of my stash and give you more details about each. I'm sure there all in excellent condition with sheaths, but I need to put my eyes on them first before I make any claims. Randy
Edward- thanks for joining the NKCA Local Chapter here- Yes, the NKCA does offer limited items from their website for sale. We'll work on others too as we go forward.
Regarding Western and Camillus brands, I don't know yet if there are ways to identify those who collect those brands through the NKCA. I do know we have a couple of groups here of collectors of old knives- like the Early American Cutlery History Group and the Vintage Knife Collector Group. See Groups under the main menu and search them out there.
