About Me: I still have the first knife I ever owned--a broke tip Camco Barlow that I was given when I was about seven. Spent a lot of hours playing mumbley-peg with that one. I have slowly collected--without realizing I was building a collection--jackknives most of my life.

About four years ago, I became more serious about it. It's a disease.
Interests: I've decided to learn how to do gunstock checkering to make the kind of folder scales I like the best. I expect that, during the next couple of years, I will be learning this skill like a monkey with a mirror--and teaching myself some interesting new words.
Other Hobbies: Reading, listening to music, fishing and making fun of Labrador Retrievers.
