About Me
I'm about to turn 40 and still a teen of the 80's, movies music and so on. I am engaged yet again to a young red head this time who shares not only my soul but my loves of blades and recently we have started a chainmail making business making all sorts of jewelry, accessories and clothing. Will add knife pics as I can much of my collection is elsewhere at the moment. I was out of collecting them for a few years but now slowly getting back into it.
Interests
Blades, Turtles, the outdoors, camping, story-novel writing.
Welcome to iKC. I think you'll like it here as there are several fantasy knife fans who are members already. Check through the Groups (see Groups on the main menu) too.
If I can help as you get settled in, please let me know.
It looks like a knife that rests at display quite much, so a light buffing on those small scratches should make those bolsters or any other stainless or polished part look like new again. A buffing wheel would probably be overkill for the state it is in, very shallow scratches.
I have to admit I am very fond of the handle design and wrapping, but the blade itself might perhaps loose out to a pure dagger design when it comes to sheer performance. Still a very interesting one, is it a genuine Hibben or made by someone else?
Welcome to the "unique open/lock" group. Your slide show is great. With a collection so eclectic I can see how you might be attracted to some of the strange designs I love.
Have the girlfriend join Bladesmith Babes here. If you give me her email I will send her an invitation...I would love to have her tell her experiences learning to throw. We did an article not to long about about a place in TX that has a Womens throwing contest every year
