Hey there, Catalin! Welcome to iKnife! Come on in, kick back and check things out. There's some handy tips on our front page to help you find your way around, and some fantastic people in the Chat room if you have any questions or want to shoot the breeze. Site rules are also on the main page, and if you get creative, you can customise your My Page to suit your own style! Hope you enjoy your stay with us! Great to have you on board!
Okay. I'm sorry, but we are a collector site, and very laid back. I would rather you keep any personal issues between other people or members out of our site. We are not here for complaints or confrontations. Also, we are not a sales site or a place to market products. Please be sure to read our rules. If you are here to talk knives and enjoy great company, then welcome! If you are just here to engage in confrontation, then I will ask you to take that somewhere else. Certainly no offence meant, I just want to be clear. Thanks and I hope you enjoy the site!
If you're looking for a place to learn new things, you've come to the right place. The folks here at IKC are extremely helpful and love to share their knowledge and do so without attitude. A great place to learn about all sorts of knives is Knife Pattern Collectors a rel="nofollow" href="http://iknifecollector.com/group/knifepatterns" target="_self">http://iknifecollector.com/group/knifepatterns >. Of course if you're interested in a particular brand there are numerous groups devoted to particular knife makers.
And if you have a question about a particular knife you own or are just came across and are unsure of, you an always ask John McCain at Knife Q&A with John McCain a rel="nofollow" href="http://iknifecollector.com/forum/categories/knife-q-a-with-john-mccain/listForCategory" target="_self">http://iknifecollector.com/forum/categories/knife-q-a-with-john-mcc... >. John rarely gets stumped and when he does there are a few other experts who will be there to chime in!
BTW, what type of fishing are you interested in? Do you waive a stick standing in a stream or drown worms sitting in a boat? Fresh or salt water? Or are you open to any type of fishing?
That is all well and good, Catalin. But I will ask that if you have an issue with a person or member, please bring it to one of the management team before starting anything in the public forums. I appreciate your consideration in this. Do feel free to private message me any concerns you may have. I'll help any way I can. Take care.
Cat - In the US, a historic car would be considered the same as a historic car in Europe. A salvage car in the US, is one that has been considered a total loss, by the insurance company, due to an accident. I also enjoy the old muscle cars (historic cars form the 60's and 70's) here in the US. I had a 1970 Chevelle and a 1971 Chevelle, when I was younger.
