Regarding the sale, a 20% discount is more than a bargain and discount should never go lower than that.

Two thoughts I want to share and consider I am perhaps not a typical member as I have very limited areas of collecting: first, all items up for sale should be on one page so that when I go to "shop" I see them all, even if it means scrolling or additional pages; second, I did not buy anything because I did not see anything I wanted.

I am a collector first and a member of iknife second. If products were more about "I collect knives" as primary with tag at bottom for iknifecollector.com at bottom, they would be more appealing to me. I want others to know I collect knives and am less interested in advertising the web site.

Talk to me about my knife collecting and then I will add a recommendation for another collector to check out the site.

Just my thoughts for what they are worth.

20% is quite a nice deal.  It just doesn't fit my collecting style, as 95% of the knives I buy are older knives.  I buy a new knife probably only once every 2 years.

Now there isn't a lot of snow in April lol  I was looking and the other shows that are in Michigan and one in our town are combined knives and gun shows.

Thank you for the Birthday pic.. . I am glad to be a part pf a community where tradition and quality are honored, rather than the flashy blades of the future. And the people here are great, as most collectors are. Willing to share knowledge, and help a friend on need. The best thing about this birthday, is I am alive to enjoy it. I hate getting old, but the alternative sucks.

Hello Jan.  Thank you for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to becoming a positive member at your site.  I still cannot figure out how my account was completely erased from your database.  When I first began having problems signing in, I should have tried contacting you. It wouldn't take my password and when I tried to get a new one, it wouldn't work either.   But, I waited till last Oct to contact you, which was too late since my account no longer existed.  Don't recall now, but there was a very unique knife that was only on here. Didn't exist anywhere else on the internet and I wanted to get the details but couldn't and I didn't want to open up another acct. since I already had one.  Again, thank you Jan. Ray

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes.  I wish I could say my health is improving, but it isn't at the moment and I just am not making many knives right now.  I am probably at the stage where I am going to sell part of my collection and pare down to the ones I really want to keep.  I hope you are doing well and take care.   Sam
