Here's what I know about my Key Knives. Imperial made a two blade knife, but they left out the smaller blade during production but left the pin intact. Curtis Industries designed a key blake that could be inserted in the knife onto the pin. The imperiap saleman would design the plastic handles with the car logo on one side and the dealers address on the other. I'm trying to do a history on these knives, but can't find anyone from the old Imperial Co. that knows. So I'm just looking for information.

    WOW , Pete .. you've a very unique collection.

I've been collecting knives for many years & have been utterly & completely unaware of these.

Thank you for posting some of your collection.

    .

As I believe you're aware .. from one of your comments .. Imperial is held in general disdain by the "serious" knife collecting crowd. I can personally attest to this .. I don't give them a second glance. They were cheap & they made a gazillion of them.

    .

    !!! .. That has changed .. Thank You .. !!!

    .

I'll now be taking a closer look to see if I can discover one of these "Key Knives".
