About Me
I am disabled, but I make knives when I can. I have made one folder and about 175 fixed blade knives. I've exhibited at the Atlanta Blade show for the last 10 - 11 years. I've been blessed to know many knifemakers that have shared their knowledge, materials, shop and time with me.
Interests
Jesus and Our Father, the most important interest anyone can have. Family and friends. Knives, music, woodworking, knot-tying, boating.
Other Hobbies
The USPower Squadron, monkey fists and lanyards, the Beatles, knife collecting, reading about knives and reading Vince Flynn.

    hey Paul you do some great work! the website you have is great, as a matter fact i tried to steal the idea. i have been looking at getting a website of my own, then i saw what you did. thats a great idea! i seem to not have the nack of it like you do though! your page looks much better than mine. i am having trouble geting the links to work. anyway you seem to be a guy i could learn alot from. hope you dont mind me aksing you some questions.

    Yes, I like the monkey fist. They are useful and fun. One of my friends bought a boat last year. I recently presented him with a monkey fist for throwing line to dock. A lot of people don't realise that is what they are originally for.

    I have been making a lot of them lately. Some people put nothing inside them. I always put something inside. For light duty, a wooden or plastic ball. For more heft, a ball bearing. Sometimes I make bigger ones with rope instead of para cord and a golf ball or a tennis ball core. Once I made one for a guy that wanted a large heavy one. So I put a slit in a tennis ball and filled it with BB's. That was a really HEAVY-DUTY monkey fist!
