    One never knows. I would suggest hanging onto it, and checking the KaBar Group or the Knife Repair Group. I'm willing to bet someone out there needs work done, or a replacement. If not here, then I'm sure we can point you in the right direction to give that handle a new and caring home.

    Thanks for the welcome. The site inspired me to go through my stuff. Among them was the handle of an original Marine issue Kbar. Like an idiot I threw the knife into a tree and the blade just snapped off. (Blade long lost.) Any idea if the intact handle is worth keeping?
