Hello Kevin - welcome to iKC - we're glad you're here!
Say...that's a right purdy S&W 6010 Bowie you have there as your avatar. I have one myself - absolutely love it. I see too that you have already jumped in and joined a group. Excellent! Feel free to snoop around and join as many as you want. Also, feel free to add comments onto threads that interest you - even if it's been a while since last visited. Nothing more fun than kick-starting an old discussion and breathing new life into it.
And if you have quetions, feel free to ask. There's always someone loitering around that can help out. Looking forward to you sharing the knife love... :-D
Thanks Lars. Certain knives mean more than others. My dad carried a S&W Bowie in his glove box of his 64 Mustang for most of my childhood. During the 1980s and 1990s we would hunt in western Indiana and he taught me to drive when I was 11 in that old car with no power breaks or steering. When he died, I got his knife but somehow lost it in a move. I found a replacement on eBay but it’s not his actual knife. I just wanted to have it back for memories I guess. Most of my knives don’t have sentimental value but there are about half a dozen that do.
