About Me: I am a woodcarver and also make knives for this relaxing art form...If you have a knife and a block of good wood...you always have a friend.I also have a channel on YouTube to help folks that want to learn to carve. I also sharpen tools for woodcarving as well as teach classes.

thanks for the comment on my knives Allen!! its a work in progress! i just got into whittling! i like to do it around the bon fire that we have at my friends house when the weather is good. i got some Rough Rider whittler and stockman that i use. i also got a carver that i made too! i plan to make some more before the spring. would love to see some pics of your work,and what kind of knives that you use.

well, just finished watching your videos on YouTube! sent Ralph Long a Email! your videos make me want to get some wood and start carving!! they also make me want to make one of those fancy carving knives! i use a pocket knife now, i usually just whittle around the bon fire. we have a good time! thanks for sharing
