Good evening Kevin,

I like US military knives the utility knives are my favorite, but I have to say that the German Mercator is my favorite of them. The way Germans built things is unlike anything ever seen again. They always have seemed to over engineer everything and make it a lot better than it has to be to get the job done. The fixed blade knives are nice to look at but not practical for me to put in my pocket. Plus nowadays most are illegal to carry due to blade length.

Ever since I was little I have always like knives with Pakistan steel. They seem to have better steel than most other countries and hold a edge like a razor.

Do you have a preference on the type of steel used in your knives Kevin?

Kevin,Lostly I carve caricatures,Christmas ornaments,and various seasonal items. I might add that I can humbly say that I carve each of those things poorly. 😄😄. Thanks for the add.
