About Me: I am 57 years of age, I have always loved a fine knife. I fooled around and made a few knives back in my 20's but didn't know anyone that did it and the references to do it right. About 5 or 6 years ago I found out I have CLL, a generally slow moving Leukemia that can mutate into the fast kind very easily. Knife making was still in my blood, Knife making was on my "bucket list". I begin doing research on the internet, bought the books and equipment and soon became friends with a great group of guys on and off of Facebook. A man by the name of Lacy Smith sort of adopted me and offered to mentor me through a series of phone call's, picture's and messages. I have been at it every since and Love it!
Interests: First off my lord and savior Jesus Christ, then my family and grand children, I also am a history buff, especially dating back to the 17 and 1800's.
Other Hobbies: Guns, Target shooting, fishing, motorcycles, and of course knife making and collecting.
