Favorite Kind of Knives
Traditional pockets. Prefer Case, Böker, Böker-Plus, and any brand Stockman or Congress. I collect for enjoyment rather than investment and I carry/use most of what I buy. I'm in the process of acquiring new examples of Stockmans and Congresses for display on my wall.
About Me
49yr old single father of three, two of which are at home. I'm disabled due to a brain injury (fell off a horse). I work part-time & parent full time. I've started collecting knives as a way to enjoy life in both solitary and social contexts.
Interests
I hope to learn more about type patterns and their history. I also want to know about the technical aspects of slipjoints and blade metallurgy. Most of all though I look forward to making some solid friendships despite distance.
Other Hobbies
Parenting, staying sane, figuring out the mysterious female mind, my 2013 Mazdaspeed 3, painting, more parenting, and maintaining solid friendships.
