About Me
Warehouse union for more than twenty five years, mostly in the printing industry. Married for over twenty five years, two adult children two grandchild. Back injury with three surgeries keeps me from working now. I wouldn't call myself a knife collector though I have a collection I don't actively seek them. Just pick them here and there if I like them. Back in the family business "Antiques" now...actually never left.
Interests
I enjoy item's from the 1930's through the late 1940's, including military, automobilia, advertising, machinery, motorcycles, historical items, knives & other weapons.
Love to barter, half of my pictures here will have to be deleted and replaced with others at some point.
Other Hobbies
Collect old license plates & automobilia, working in my shop, restoring anything with wheels. Wife calls me a workaholic, cross between OCD & ADHD I guess.

There is a monthly publication, Knife World" that I reccomend ($22 per year). It always has excellent articles on various knives (custom, old ones & modern) as well as they have in stock for sale many publications on knives (www.knifeworld.com). The one book that I find very useful to date various makers is "Goin's Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings". Cleaning is always a personal decision one has to make. A word of caution is that a lot of cleaners and lubes can be damaging to knives with celluoid or plastic type handles.
