Ken, I think that Rough Rider  is probably one the most affordable and best built camp knives on the market today.  Yes there are better ones out there but not in the under $15 price range. An excellent user and an excellent one just to have in the collection.

I agree Tobias, it is sure a well built knife.

I've been looking at picking up an Ocoee River but never get around to it.   How is that knife, Ken?  It looks great.  is it 4  1/8  or larger?

Tobias, it is 4 1/2. The bone handle is beautiful, that's what sold me. I really like the knife.

Has anyone gotten a Hobo, Scout or Sailor's knife lately. I bought a 1940's Navy knife the other day, just to check one out. I really don't collect this pattern. It's heavy duty to say the least.

I'm saving up for another Merc.  So I haven't been buying much of anything since before Christmas.  but I don't think I've posted these three here.  They are the one, two, and three piece clasp knives currently  made for British Forces.  I still need to get the survival clasp knife.

I love how the blades remind you to "oil the joints!"

The one piece has a simple non-locking coping-sheepfoot blade.

This is the slightly older non-locking two piece. (newer version have a locking coping-sheepfoot

And last is the three piece clasp knife. The pattern has changed very little since around 1944.  the two and three piece have a slot head screwdriver integrated in the middle liner.

Well at long last I. Have got one sweet Girl Scout Knife...Been on the lookout for some time but could never find the right one! Many thanks to my friend Peter Force who came through with this one!

Great looking knife. Let me ask, did it come with a box of cookies?
I want the cookies !!!! LOL

NICE Steve!  A big thanks to Peter Force, I know Steve was wanting one

That is a good one, Steve.  Is it by Utica?
