I second what JJ says , thanks for all you do for iKC Steve. Great picture there Jan !
Why did the pig go to the casino ? To play the slop machine !
Did you hear about the pig who opened a pawn shop? He called it “Ham Hocks”
FIRST PIGLET: How do you know your boyfriend loves you? SECOND PIGLET: He signs his letters with lots of hogs and kisses.
WOW, I can't pass up this!
What do you call a spastic goat? Billy the kid.
The devout cowboy lost his favorite Bible while he was mending fences out on the range. Three weeks later, a goat walked up to him carrying the Bible in its mouth. The cowboy couldn't believe his eyes. He took the precious book out of the goat's mouth, raised his eyes heavenward and exclaimed, "It's a miracle!" "Not really," said the goat. "Your name is written inside the cover."
what do you call a redneck who owns 6 goats? A pimp.
A policeman in the big city stops a man in a car with a goat in the front seat. "What are you doing with that goat?" He exclaimed, "You should take it to the zoo." The following week, the same policeman sees the same man with the goat again in the front seat, with both of them wearing sunglasses. The policeman pulls him over. "I thought you were going to take that goat to the zoo!" The man replied, "I did. We had such a good time we are going to the beach this weekend!"
A traveling salesman (relax, parents, it's clean ... besides, what are you doing reading this page?)
arrives in a country store where he finds four men playing poker with a goat. He becomes more amazed when he watches the goat call for two cards, raise his bet, and take in the pot.
Finally he says, "That's amazing. I've never seen such a smart goat." "He ain't smart," says one of the men at the table. "Whenever he gets a real good hand he wags his tail."
I have to tell my Hog story. I was recently in Missouri and was fortunate to be able to visit Hog. A much shorter visit than I preferred but still a most enjoyable visit.
Now Hog is a farmer and I will just say his farm is way back in farm country. That didn't bother me because I grew up only about 40 miles from Hog's farm in similar country. My daughter Caren was with me on this trip. She is strictly a city girl. Lived all her life in town.
After we left the paved road and started deeper into the woods on the gravel road, Caren said she was having visions of Deliverance. We met a fellow on a four wheeler on the gravel road. He asked us what we were looking for. I told him I was looking for Steve Hanner. He said we were right, Steve was just a little further. He told us people often got lost back there. After this Caren told me she was expecting to hear banjo music!
But after we got there and Caren met Steve and Pam, she agreed they were a very nice couple and she also enjoyed the visit.
Steve, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you do and to let you know you are greatly appreciated. You are a good friend and I truly value your friendship. God Bless you my brother. Ken
Hog. For everything you do for us, and for Jan, we cannot thank you enough. You keep us going, seems like 24 hours a day. Thank you for being here. This website would not be what it is without you.
Aw shucks folks Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of you. You all mean so much to me.
I dont care who you are John, that is funny!
I agree John, that is funny! ROFL
LOL, the jokes have been cute! I dont have one. :(
The Hog I know works more than a full time job, no matter what the weather or how he is feeling.
While he is out feeding he is thinking, how do we keep the folks talking..or I need to tell the folks on iKC about this knife I carried today. He comes in after his first 9 hours of the day, gets a cold drink of water and signs on here to say we are sure glad to have you here. After another 6 or 7 he is here again. Also during that time he is taking care of his family, neighbors and still manages to do all of the things mentioned above.
He may be an old farmer but to me he is what my daddy always called the everyday hero, the spirit of what makes the American Farmer an icon
