Thanks, Floyd I quite like the stick with the old Victorian penny on, that is unusual for me as I don't usually think much to the things I make. They never seem to quite match up to the initial idea if you know what I mean.
John, most things I whittle look like I whittled them. But I like your cane's and again the coin on both of them really adds to their desirableness.

I've always said that, when carving, you've got to know when to stop.
Sometimes, that last, extra, cut can ruin your work.
