Do you collect folding knives by pattern, series or brandname????

I have an ever expanding list of knives on my potential purchase list.  Is it best to collect by pattern ( trapper, muskrat) series (black pearl, coal miner) or brandname ( rough rider, case) ??

here is the Jungle Bowie. This one is coated stainless steel instead of the 1075 Carbon that the nCondor Jungle Bowieeck knife was.

Billy,  I sure like that Fidelis.

billy, what is the handle material on the jungle bowie?

I like your style Billy!

Ron, It is a rubberized grip.

J.J., that Fidelis is a sweet well made neck knife.

The top of the Jungle Bowie is as sharp as the bottom.

thanks, billy! i bet it has a real good feel in hand. i like the necker, too! did you do the paracord or did it come that way?

It came that way, Ron.

Pink Izula Neck Knife.   I won this one via a Contest on Tactical Knives TV.   And for the record I have no problem with pink.  It's actually an excellent color for desert camouflage.

My first attemp ever at cord wrapping. I have no clue if i did it right or not.  I know its tight and feels good in the hand.

Knife in sheath

Ford 30 CWT LRDG truck, depicted as it operated in North Africa WWII

Modern Day SAS landrover as deployed in Afghanistan  Color scheme is desert pink and charcoal grey  Regardless of the color scheme the SAS gun trucks are called "Pinkies"

Original 1973 SAS "Pink Panther" Land Rover as it would have operated in Dhofar Rebellion

i would love to have that pink knife! i would wrap it in bright orange paracord just to pop that pink a little more! kewl that you won it, too!

  1. I like Izulu. I like the pink vehicles also. I have my share of pink knives. I'll admit that I like pink.
