Glad your home safe and sound.  The trip sounds like it was fun and worth it.  That easy open is sweet but I gotta say, that Avatar rings some bells for me

Nice huh, I got myself a medium one in Goldlip Pearl. I really like it. Making myself a leather pouch so I don't have to worry about scuffing it in the pocket and I can carry it.

And my personal favourite. Corian liners and integral bolsters with Pearl scales. No metal liners and EXTREMELY lightweight:

Just look at the pearl on that one:

And how clean the blade snuggles up to the backspring...you can't even see where one begins and the other ends.

I wish....the choice was either that one or two from other makers. So I passed and got a Tim Britton slipjoint and Paul Happy hunter instead.

Wow....didn't realise I let this thread die.

I've got a TON of extra pictures yet. Let's start off with Billy Mace Imel who makes some AMAZING integral knives. I had a really cool conversation with him about how he got started making knives and all sorts of related stuff
