A member of iKC and a member of the extended Champlin family, Derek Smith had this to say about his new offering under this family owned tang

Hello fellow knife nuts.
This is something I've been working on for a long, long time.
I'm very pleased to see it finally coming together.

Those look great. Best of luck in your venture.

Thanks Brad!

We are not some big corporation, just a couple of

working stiffs who like old fashioned and historical looking knives.

It's been a ton of work so far, but we are really enjoying the process.

If you check the GEC website you can see the knives with the etch and they are lookingb great!!! I should get them by tomorrow or Sat man I can't wait!!!

Thanks for the update Michael.  We are looking forward to getting ours also.  Any hints on what the next project will be for you all?

Derek and I are working on that but not sure at this point, BTW I mailed most of the knives out yesterday that have been spoken for. We would love to hear what people think when they get theirs!!

Thanks for all the support we ahev been getting, all the best Mike

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Pics to come

Michael, is the website done yet?.  I would love to get your ad to link through to it

Its a great looking knife !!  You have done good.

as well as the Rosewood!

The ebony on this knife is exceptional.  Deep rich color that really gives this pattern an old time feel and look. Everything from the tube is first class.

Wow, that looks great! I just might have to get one.

Yay!  They came yesterday and have been posing since.  I couldn't be happier with them, terrific pieces and both S/N 3 cubed ( or 27 for most of us ).
