I love the looks of this knife! I have to get one!

Reviews on the Sway Back Jack have been fantastic too.

Who's got some good pictures of theirs?

I want to get this with prime stag handles.  :-)

The SBJ and SBG are great pattern. Here is a photo fo Sway Back Gent.

Wow Mike, that's a beautiful knife!

PURTY!

Craig,

Took me a while to find the Stag version of the Sway Back Jack. I actually have two now, one for my collection and one to carry. My only wish is that Case offered this in CV steel.

Jim Lucier

You sound like me! LOL! One to carry and one to collect! And yes, I wish Case did more in CV.

Finally got it!

Okay, this and a couple of others are the first Case knives that I've bought in years, so I was anxiou to see how they are now.

Case TB62117 CV Swayback Jack Chestnut Jigged Bone Chrome Vanadium/Carbon Steel

Well, I'm more than pleased! This Swayback Jack is really nice! No, super nice!

* Fit and finish - Tight clean and shiny! A-1!

* Walk and talk - It couldn't walk or talk any better for me! SUPER smoooth opening and closing blades!

* Stay and play - Perfect! No play at all!

* Sharpness - VERY sharp, not like a razor, but sharp

* How do I feel about it? - I love it. Case can still make a first class knife!

* Niggly things - The main blade isn't perfectly lined up between the liners, but it doesn't bother me.....no biggie.

I'm back buying Case knives! I WILL be getting more!

Anyone notice the off center of the Sway Back Jacks? I have 6 now and all are off. Not enough to rub but definitely not Tony Bose approved.

Yep.....read my review above. Mine's not that off, but it's off. No big deal to me.

Craig,

Agreed, the off center is no show stoppper. My Stag SBJ is my new EDC, a perfect combination of form and function in a small package. Of the examples I have examined, all are off. The picture above is the farthest off but all favor the same side. I do like to select the pick of the litter before I buy so I have examined several SBJs. Probably a flaw in the production process

Stay sharp,

Jim Lucier

Yeah, I even have a couple of knives from the "popular new knife company" (whom I also like) with blades that aren't center.
