Welcome Home

iKnifeCollector.com began on April 14, 2009.  We started as a way for knife collectors to meet online and talk knives.  Nobody cared what knives you collected, just that you liked sharp objects.

Our community grew and the original owner had some other irons in the fire.  He left iKC in the capable, managing hands of Mr. Steve “Hog” Hanner.  Hog fostered the environment already in place and we evolved into a community versus a forum.

Built in a full website format rather than a blog or standard forum style helped the community to grow.  Groups gave iKC the ability to give members a place to discuss specific knives with members that were drawn in the same direction.  They soon began to flow over to other like interests of the community.  Everything from “JJ’s Diner” and learning to whittle on the front porch to “The Arsenal” and sharing the hunt.

A carousal of knife pictures quickly grew to over 50,000.  The Main page gave everyone a community gathering spot to post blogs and forum type discussions.

I was a late comer, we joined on February 23, 2010.  Quickly, I knew this was a community I could hang out in. Steve Hanner offered me a position as moderator and I learned the ropes on how it all worked from him. He continues to inspire me every day.  In October of 2012, I became the owner here at iKC.

Regardless of who you are or what you collect, there has always been a space at the kitchen table for you and your knives.  Honestly it was just that simple.

The members are what makes iKnifeCollector.com the best on the web. Welcome Home

HIAWASSEE June 1, 2017 -- Iknifecollector.Com has been selected for the 2017 Best of Hiawassee Award in the Collectibles Store category by the Hiawassee Award Program.

Each year, the Hiawassee Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
