Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Derrick Bohn of KnivesShipFree has instituted a great program to give your child his (or her) first knife with his name engraved on the blade.  The knife is a Buck Bantam.  The knife is free, no shipping, no handling charge.

Here is the link.

Thank you Charles , thats a great deal!

Hog you should get one for both!

Thanks much for the info. I sent this to my son and he got one for my granddaughter. I hope my son-in-law does so for my grandsons. I will post of pic from them when I get them.

Bob, you can do it for your grandson's.  I already have one on the way for my grandson.    I emailed KnivesShipFree and asked and they said it was perfectly alright to do it..

Thanks Charles. I will check with my son-in-law. Don't want to be double dipping. If he doesn't I certainly will do that.

I got this email today and it truly warmed my heart.  Derrick got more orders than he planned on but did not say...ok we are done.  NO WAY!  He started ordering more!  So if it is a little slow getting there?  Know he is as good as his word, look at how many he ordered

Happy Friday!

What an amazing week.

On Saturday afternoon, we rolled out our new Knives for Kids program to help parents pass their love for knives on to their children.  I told Wendy when we began, it was either the best or the worst idea we had ever had.  I was right.

It was the best idea because thousands of parents responded to our invitation to consider giving their children their first knife and sign up for our free knife.

It was the worst because we set aside 1000 knives to give away to parents for their children and had 4000 people sign up for a knife.  In case you are math challenged, I was WAY short in the inventory department.

We scrambled and got the first 1000 knives out and got the next 3000 on order.

And just when I was thinking it was certainly the most foolish thing we had ever done, we started getting pictures of happy kids.  It doesn't get better than that.

That was my week.  I must say, it ended beautifully.
Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,
Derrick and Wendy Bohn
