My Gramma gave me this after his passing. All I know is what I can see. Its made by Imperial.

I'd live to know what type of slip joint it is (Barlow?), or anything about the history.

I have a couple more pics on my page.

New to this format so I'm still learning how to do stuff. Working off of an iPad with a keyboard limits me some too.

OK, the pattern is pretty simple.  It is an easy open tear drop jack

That tang stamp was used from 1936- 1952. I will dig further and see if I can narrow the date down any-
