Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

This year iKnifeCollector is able to offer you a J.Mutz Custom.

Thanks to everyone that helped this decision happen.

Confirmed price is $112.00 plus shipping.

Payment is due no later than August 1, 2013

The body and bolsters are milled 416 the blade is 154CPM, with a 1/2 stop.  It is 3 5/8 closed and it is a Stag Cut Red Bone. Because this would be custom we could not order any more than 50 knives and his commitment is that he could deliver in September (maybe sooner but that a lot to get made in a short time).  There will be an iKC certificate with each knife signed by me.

45 of the 50 have been committed so there are only a few available.  Right now we will offer one per member.  For those of you wishing a second I have you on the list if there are still some available

I just had to share with you the warranty info on Jeff's page

It has a complete lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. Any malfunction due to materials or craftsmanship under normal using conditions will be repaired for free. You can ship your product to the address found on this website but please contact us first so we know to watch for your returned item.

The "Catch" - Yes, sorry folks but we have a loophole to our warranty. The "lifetime" in "lifetime warranty" means Jeff's lifetime. Sorry but unfortunately when Jeff takes up residence at Boot Hill there will be no one to repair your product for free. Jeff's son Dylon is going to college and has no interest in continuing Jeff's business. But Jeff hopes to be able to warranty your products for many years to come!

I've been quite though all this do to making a haystey dection but there are people that can'nt tell the truth and thay do'nt beleve that thay do lie and beleve everthing thay is right(my father was one of them) it is a sickness, now let's move on with everthing and that to bed.I think that queen or grate easteren knife's would make a good choose of knifes as long as it is a limited edtion for collecting reasons,I do love to collect and use knives and have been for 50 pluse years, so lets move on

I was just looking at queen and i like the scout or kentucky shiner and mybe we could use them for our 2014 how about the scout for 2013 and the kentucky for 2014

Ken Daniels and Queen knives is willing to investigate what they can do for us.  As a short run and quick release, it is wonderful that they are willing to see what they can do.  I will know more Monday about the possibilites

That Family and company are great people. That is good to hear.
I'm in total agreement on this issue. I have a grown child that cannot, or doesn't know how to tell the truth.

Terry, I think you are correct, we have to move on. All he has to do is say he bit off more than he could do, who cares, say something and it's over but to keep up the lies...why?

Now I won't have anything good to say bout him, it could have been different had he just said oops, Sorry! okay it happens no hard feelings but to keep playing us as chumps don't sit right, and it's a small world.

Well I wonder what Ken Daniels comes up with.

We'll see.

No knives came in the mail today.  I will pursue an option with another company.  Likely it will be Queen

Thanks Miss Jan, I know you have exhausted all efforts to complete our 2013 club knife. I brought up the idea that Queen help us out of this problem, and I think they will, and do a fine job.

I hate to see this happen, your first year as our leader. There are things in our life that are out of our control. You have done your best and I know you will continue to keep our interest in good shape. Bless your heart.

Funny enough Robert, although it is my first year as the leader here...this is the third knife I have actually brokered the deal on for iKC.  Go Figure!

Please see your emails for the announcement.  Queen Cutlery and Ken Daniels have generously offered to help with our 2013 knife.  They have said they beleive they can have this done in our time frame and have offered to meet our price on a Special Factory Order Knife.  I cannot say enough about this company and it's leadership. The knife will be a 3L mountain man, 1095 carbon steel, satin finish, Amber carved stag bone, a distinct vintage shield and the iknifecollector etch.

Now, can I say I am very excited about this knife.  The mountain man is a wonderful pattern and the materials and craftsmanship of a Queen are excellent.  I only have a photo of a standard knife (borrowed from knivesshipfree) so use your imagination on this.  Satin blades, Distinct vintage shield and iknifecollector etch

THANK YOU QUEEN CUTLERY

I'm up for that Queen has come thru in a pinch with a Beauty!

Thanks Jan for staying tough on this and working something out! Thank you Queen Cutlery!

NOW , please get rid of the pic of, "whats his faces wanna be knife makers knife" off of this thread! I'm WAY TIRED of seeing his name and pic of something he cant do!
