Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

Since we are all knife collectors I thought it would be nice for everyone to show off a collection are two. Get one of your favorite collections together, 3 to 6 knives in all and post us a picture. It can be by pattern, style or maker; fixed or folder. What ever makes them a collection. You may post more than one collection but just 3 to 6 knives in each.

This is not a contest, just a way to show us your knives, for all to enjoy. Lets have some fun.

OK, I am going to show off these

Nice Jan!

I don't get it, Jan?  What's the theme of the collection?  (ducking and covering)

I call that collection, "Hard Work"...lol  Thanks Miss Jan, you have me beat by one. I think by wanting to limit this to 3 to 6 knives, everyone is putting up the crème of the crop...that's just what I wanted. Remember, you can post more than once.

Three Aces...or three Remington Bullet Knives.

My collection of the complete series of Case Classic 2007 1/2 trappers from page 66 of Jim Parkers-"Best In The Long Haul"

Top knife is a bonus Mastadon Ivory prototype-Bottom knife is a 1 of 25 Dark Blue Swirl-

Robert just to be contrary to your hypothesis. Here is a selection of my "Looked better on eBay" knives

The top is a bartender made by Ideal.  The blade steel is pathetic.  It is also too small to be of any use.  I've got paper clips that keep their shape better than the corkscrew that is held in place by friction alone.

Next up the souvenir of Florida. I got it along with three other knives for $4. (including shipping).  figure how could I go wrong, especially as one of the knives was a Wenger Esquire.  I think the Esquire must've been run over by a steam roller.  The handles were glued back on and the scissors were so wobbly they were unserviceable.  This was the best of the four knives.

The bottom is a Japanese twine knife.  It actually isn't half bad. Part of a six for $5 bid.  The other have long since been trashed. This one is good for cutting twine.  There is no back spring, the blade just fits in a slot in the handle.  Definitely not worth $5!    As a matter of fact I put the value of all three combined at $0.00.  Yet they are a priceless reminder to pay attention when bidding on eBay!  Maybe I can feel that seahorse off the bartender and use at as a shield on a real knife?

All I can say is WOW!  John.

John, those are an exceptionally nice collection. thanks for sharing.

LOL, Robert the "hard work" was finding them in the safe and then making everything fit back in there again

Tobias I am going to name that series "what comes next?"

Thanks for the effort, Miss Jan, that's a grand photo. "What comes next" is a good question. Since the last knife was a knock down, drag out ordeal.

John, that is a fine Case Trapper collection.

I wonder, does the value go up on knives in a fine collection?
