Welcome Home...THANK YOU FOR BEING A PART OF OUR COMMUNITY

In reply to Steve Hanner's question: I simply have gotten to many knives, and have stopped buying for awhile (notice I say for awhile) and my interest at present is being divided with other interests. I will be back to posting more but when the time is right. I still have a deep respect and love for IKC.

I too get  busy outdoors and I do not make time  to post things ,but i do try and get on here every now and then. I like the site and I do get disappointed when i go to my groups and not see any activity. Steve I am open to suggestions as to how to interact more with the site. My problem is  I am new to knife collecting and  I do not have much information to share.

Thanks for the comments and by the way you are helping us a lot! I know when you are getting started and kind of feeling your way around its hard to contribute a ton. But the best way to learn is ask questions and we have folks who can help, some who have collected knives and know more about them than even I do!I

I love the outdoors as well, and this time of the year with cooler temps and pretty fall colors(well here anyway) kind of keep me at an arms length from iKC as well. In fact hope to get a few pics of tree lines today in fall color as well as that great Canal Street knife I keep talking about!

I have posted as much as possible during this busy building seas,on. Of late I have been posting more about customizing and putting handles on blanks. Also on occasion I will praise those vintage knife finds.
But, the building season is going into its slow down period. Which will give me time to play in my machine shop.
I have a lot blanks to handle and I already have the Kraton handle off the Wotan from Brazil, which is a hidden tang knife. That may make it a committee knife.
More posts are coming, Manx told me the last time I was featured, it was for the quality of my posts rather than the quantity. Of course he may have been blowing Sunshine at me. LOL

My health has set me back. I still love IKC and all my friends I have here. I hope to be more active. Bless all of Ya'll.

Thank you all for letting us know and for your participation.  Please, always feel free to let us know if there is anything we can do to make your home here better

Hope you get to feeling better Robert.....

My prayers are with you Robert.

I'm doing a lot better but still a little shaky. I fell behind on a lot of things. I'm glad hunting season and cooler weather is here, it will help get me moving again. I am lucky that I have a bunch of friends that hunt and camp next to me, they are such a help.

The cooler weather gets me going as well. Glad you are feeling a bit better my friend.
