John, what do you think this is, origin, age? its a crude blade that has signs of being folded steel. The wire wrap looks like brass as is the crosshuard. The blade is 20" long, handle 5 1/4" . thanks for any help.

It looks North African to me though I cannot tell you who it was that made it. Sorry
