No....I don't.
The ZT limited are basically the only designs I like by Zero Tolerance that have any sort of attraction for me. Basically the only ones I would be interested in buying.
However ZT screws around with release dates and limited numbers so much that by the time a knife finally comes out it's SOOO hyped that the only way I'd be able to get one is pay 400% of the msrp for it.
So I don't care for ZT anymore.
Granted this is a nice looking knife...if a little clunky though.
Preferred the look of the 0600 and the 0777....
look nice :)
ZT makes the knives as they can, fitting the production of these labor intensive high-end limited edition knives in between the production of 20,000+ leeks and thousands of other knives per month.
The release the knives when they have them completed and ready to ship, and I don't remember them putting release dates out, so I don't know where they are "screwing around" with the dates. They ship when they are done, plain and simple.
It is the dealers that are marking the knives up - or the aftermarket flipping that makes a knife that would normally sell for $400 start selling for $1000.
The folks at Kai are not any happier about the situation than many of us are in terms of some dealers marking the LE's up, or selling them on Ebay to the highest bidder.
