My thoughts on this...The Templar and the weaver Jack have been released.  Kate has made her long awaited debute The whaler will show at the open house as the anniversary knife.  That seem to leave the FULL HOUSE,  So what do we think it will be?

Logic tells me it could be a 5 blade stockman but I am going with it being a 5 blade sowbelly.

Tell me what you think?

I love 5 blade sowbelly's - that would be awesome!
I don't know but it's past time for a Moose.

I don't think this, but, a copperhead would be awesome.

I would love to see a Tidioute Copperhead, with worm groove chestnut bone scales.

A lanyard hole would be a nice touch, but thats what I want, it will probably be a 5 blade stockman like you said though.

I'm game for anything.

Interesting ideas there.  Anyone else have some thoughts?
Okay I have another, I've been using my #53 Furtakers a lot as of late, I love the frame, it seems to fit my hand perfectly. But, when using the Wharncliffe there is some forced separation between my hand and the actual frame, it's not really a problem, but I would love to be able to get an actual "feel" for the frame. So a single blade #53 would be perfect, there are a ton of blade configurations to do with a #53 frame too. Thats just what my pocket is hankering for.

The June production schedule is out

#73 Northfield Scout: All Steel, Ebony Wood, Jigged Bone, Burnt Stag, Snake Wood

#65 Ben Hogan

#46 Whaler

AND LOOK OUR #36 IS THERE!!!

I have read that the whaler is going to be a two blade.

Still wondering what the full house will be

Is the #46 a new pattern?  I don't have it on my list, although my list may not be complete.

Yes Rusty,The 46 will be a new pattern. I would expect it's debut will be the Rendezvous Knife. Last year,Great Eastern debuted the 66 Mink Skinner knife at the Rendezvous. And these will carry the"3 P's".

And as long as we're talking about the Production Schedule,I would like to elaborate on the Scheduled 36 Sunfish. The folks at Great Eastern will be making the IKC Sunfish Knives,in conjuction with this, they will make a 40 piece run to released to Distributors. These Sunfish will be Northfield,Smooth Steel Bolsters. Steel Liners and Pins, with a Stamped Spear Blade and a Pen Blade. They will have Jigged Bone Handles, color to be determined. Now 40 pieces aren't a lot of knives. Not enough to go around. I would suggest Sunfish Collector's to stay on top of this.

Thanks Bob.  How did you know I was also wondering about that jigged bone sunfish?

Looks like a great list, I look forward to seeing the whaler in person, that pattern has a special place in my heart.

I've been wondering what a "whaler" would look like.  Maybe a harpoon?  Or a fishtail style, with the corners of the back bolster curving out like a fish tail?  Then it hit me - Moby Dick!  Case had a folding hunter scrimshawed with a whale on it and called it the Moby Dick.  So now I'm thinking the whaler will be a large, 2 blade folding hunter maybe with smooth handles, bone or wood.  Any other guesses?

Rusty, I have my doubts on it being a folding hunter, I'd love to see one, and I would buy one, but I just don't see the calling that patter a whaler. A few years ago my grandfather gifted me this knife, he'd had it in his collection for a while, but when he heard I lost my pocket knife he gave me this one, I carried it for a while before I found out what it was.

This is what Case's whaler looks like.
