Vintage Boy Scout Survival Mess Kit
I picked up this vintage Offical Boy Scout Mess Kit at a thrift store a few weeks ago for a couple dollars. After failing to resell it on ebay I decided to beef it up to Steel Sahlute worthiness.
I added a Camo CASE XX Hobo knife, some charcloth, matches, wire, and fatwood!

Great job Scott, that looks like a great deal. Had I not already, set up a camping package, almost like the one you have posted, I would be interested. Just like those, that want to get a bug out or just a light camping package, these are all quality, equipment. Thanks for posting. I hope some of our outdoorsman, take notice.

Nice job, Scott! The Case XX hobo knife is an especially nice touch, but may be a little on the spendy side to resell with the mess kit. (I think Ka-Bar sells a cheaper one.) Good luck on selling your upgraded kit on eBay!
