I am very sorry to hear of your loss. It is always difficult losing loved ones and never gets easier. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I hope somehow you and your family are able to deal with this together and remember all the positive things your mother brought to your life, so she can continue to love on in your hearts.

Jan, I'm so sorry.  I can't yet fully understand your loss, but I know that mothers always play such a deep & fundamental role in our lives, and life will be inherently different from here on out.  All of us here care about you quite a lot, Jan. We'll all be thinking about you & your family, and wishing you the best throughout this whole process. Take your time to deal with it all, & know that we'll all be here for you. 

I cannot express the way reading this has made me feel. Life has changed. I am however blessed in that I have had her well into my 60's. She will always be one of the strongest women I have ever known. Thank you to everyone. You have made a very tough situation easier.
