"Craig, I'd hold off on getting that number inked on, you may want to upgrade to Life Member someday and the you'll just get yourself confused lookin in the mirror and seeing two numbers tattooed on your chest! Ha ha!"

    Good point! LOL!

    Craig Henry

Wow Lee, that's a good one! If she won't let you keep it, I'll take it!

  • Gerald Hines

Ivars I've been trying to get one of those for 5 years and always get over bid.

  • Michelle "Fingers" DellaPelle

    not easy to bid it

  • Max McGruder

Hate to think what it goes for!  Be nice to have one BUT...

  • Lee Smith

Well If I had known one of you where bidding on it I would have stopped bidding. Really!

  • Gerald Hines

Lee I don't think I was bidding on that one. I can't remember bidding on one this year.

  • Lee Smith

I'm still seeing them on ebay. Hope to pick a couple up at SHC tomorrow for the grandson.

  • Max McGruder

I have the toothpick one but have seen the Canoe that I'm wanting now also!

  • Max McGruder

    Those are neat Jan!

I'm definitely going to get the Wood Case Canoe! Maybe the Trapper too. (I'm a poet and don't know it)

That's interesting Max. I guess SHC gets theirs from SMKW too?

  • Clint Thompson

I guess the wooden Case knife would be a "Grins and Giggle" knife.

  • Lee Smith

I bought 2 at shc today 11.99 grandson loves them.

  • Max McGruder

Lee, way to go! A nice way to introduce knives and how they're put together. Also gives a common denominator do you both!
  • Lee Smith

My daughter Let's him play with them. He's 3. If he gets caught using in a way that a knife is not supposed to be used she takes them away. Good way to teach him I think. He has a trapper.canoe and a toothpick now. Hmmmm maybe a good way to teach him how to collect. lol

  • Max McGruder

Sounds like ya got a handle on things! Sounds like a great way to get him into collecting!

I'm 63 going on 12 so I like them for myself! LOL! I just think they're cool. Good little display item. And yes......I might play with them, so what.

  • Max McGruder

I believe that's why we by the knives is to play with them, and with the wooden ones we don't need as many band aids for just a splinter or two! HA HA

  • Max McGruder

Enjoy yourself! Just watch out for splinters! LOL!

Easy to see why you're looking at those! Do you own any of those patterns now?

Everyone needs at least one CANOE !

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Of those three patterns, I only have ONE Case Canoe. But that won't be the case for too long! And I'm feeling a Congress buzz coming on. I especially like the 052 Congress.

  • Michelle "Fingers" DellaPelle

  • Lee Smith

Found this on ebay. Is it me or does it just look wrong. The buy it now is 375.00

  • Tobias Gibson

I'm not too sure about the tang stamp.  It looks a little fishy to me.

Hi I'm James Parker and I am offering some great Case knives for auction from a recent 1500 piece all Case Knife Collection purchase. Pay Pal gladly accepted. TN residents pay 9.25% state sales tax. The winning bidder pays $2.95 for USPS 1st Class Mail Shipping Delivery Confirmation included in the Shipping price.

This knife for auction is the super rare Case Autumn Shadowbone 62109W Wharncliff Mini Copperhead, 3 1/8" closed, featuring Case's Autumn Shadowbone (cattle bone) scales.

The master Wharncliff blade is tang stamped with Case XX with 5 X's and 4 Dots, dating this as a 2001 issue Case knife, with the rear tang of the small Spear blade being pattern stamped with USA 62109W SS. Both blades have great "walk and talk" snap.

What designates this knife a Case "Shadowbone" knife is the fact that it has no bolsters at all; Case calls this a "Shadowbone" variation. The blades are produced with Case Tru Sharp Surgical Cutlery Steel and the front side features the Case XX script style shield.

Please be sure to see the Supersize Photos as this is the EXACT knife the winning bidder will receive. As you can see from our auctions, we provide you with good detailed pictures and offer great condition items for auction. No Junk Here and Super Fast Shipping Service.

This 2001 issue Case Autumn Shadowbone 62109W Wharncliff Mini Copperhead is in mint condition in the original issue Case factory box with original much older style Case factory brochure (the Case item number is #05002) and being offered at No Reserve. Yes A True No Reserve Auction Where The Bidding Starts At .99 Cents. Thanks for your bids, we appreciate it.
