Stamping press Lee. Case is running full blast!

  • Lee Smith

They make more knives and then they need to sell more knives. More pattern's. Lower prices. Wait I think I'm dreaming. I need to go to bed for that.

Hey, when I'm finished, I'll do a little review on my Case wood knife kit. I'm going to try a little whittlin' with it. Blades seemed tempered really good.

  • Lee Smith

Picked this up on the way home from work today.case magician's mini coke red and green bone 10-28-09. I figured Sue might like it.

    Craig Henry

And the blade comes super sharp........

Third Wednesday is a coming. I'm thinking. Should I get a second one of these to carry (switch off with my 33 Stockman)?

Or, should I get one of these to carry WITH my 33 Stockman.

    Or get both? Hmmm......

  • Lee Smith

Aww sucks it's only money. Maybe you should get both with scales that match. I just love matched sets.

My problem is, Case has so many beautiful bone handles sometimes I can't make up my mind what I like best.

I know what you mean about having matched knives, but I kinda like having something different if I'm carrying more than one. It gives me more to look at than just one type bone.....if you know what I mean.

  • Max McGruder

That's probably why so many switch off between 10 or more EDC's! Me I like to carry Stag!

I basically only have one EDC, my Case Mini Blackhorn.  Well actually I have two.  I also EDC a Leatherman Micra.  But I am thinking about getting a Case Stockman or Trapper to carry as a Sunday Go To Meetin' knife when I go to SMKW in July.

    Craig Henry

    Huh, did someone say Stockman......

    Craig Henry

Still need to get one of these too.....

I'm afraid to get that pearl small stockman. Guess why.

  • Tobias Gibson

To paraphrase and mis-quote Generl Parron: "Only a pimp from a cheap a New Orleans whorehouse would carry a pearl handled  [knife] "   I say these things when I'm jealous and can't afford the knife I'm looking at.  Now the Case Pearl I've been looking at is this one:

  • Michelle "Fingers" DellaPelle

Beautiful case pearl knife. I want one

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

    That's a cool one Toby!

I'm afraid to get a small stockman in pearl, because, I MIGHT want to get another to carry! Oh, my aching money tree.

My money tree dropped all its leaves long ago and never leafed out again.  Come to think of it I don't remember it ever growing any leaves.

Isn't there another Case book? On the company history or something? I think Sue show a picture of it......maybe?

  • Max McGruder

    Yes

  • Michelle "Fingers" DellaPelle

Thanks Max! I need to get that one too!

  • Jan Carter

Last night as we watched KnicesLive together the old GREEN BONE was abundant.  It will probably always be my favorite bone.  As it ages it just becomes more beautiful

Okay, Case-aholics, I've got a question and its a pretty stupid.  I'm assuming the answeer is big fat hairy "NO."  Did Case ever produce Swiss Army Style knives similar to the Colonial Swiss Master series?  I know Imperial and Camillus did but i've never seen a Case equivalent.
