Another fine presentation, Tobias.  Appreciate the "fit & finish" part, and India Stag - nice.

  • Jan Carter

    Love the Barlow Max!

    Craig,

    This line is ironic.

Case phased out production of “Gum Fuddy” knives after the war, as traditional handle materials made their way back to market."

Gum Fuddy is now considered a traditional material by most of us.  Thanks for sharing that

  • Max McGruder

    Thanks Jan, me too! Lol!

    Yes, that IS ironic! LOL!

The new Amber Bone Teardrop...with a 6107W for comparison.

  • Ken Spielvogel

    Nice knives Paul

  • Tobias Gibson

I really like the bare-headed Teardrop.   I think you're going to make me break down and buy another Case Knife, Paul!

  • Gary Seely

Wow Paul, Both very nice knives.

Is the amber bone teardrop in general release? Is it available with a wharncliffe blade?
I can't find it listed as available anywhere.

  • Gary Seely

I found one with a drop point.  I'm sure a complete list of handles and blades exist, but I can't seem to find it.

  • Paul Work

It's a new release, just now making it's way to dealers.

Single blade Amber Bone and 2blades in Pocket Worn Old Red Bone and stag.

There is also  the single blade SHOT Show exclusive forthcoming in ebony and a another 2-blade for Case's 125th anniversary coming later this year.

Spear point main and pen are the only blade options.  I don't know if there will be others offered in the future or not.

Hello Paul, thank you for posting the photo of the Amber teardrop. I also like the wharncliffe single blade mini trapper. I had one in gray bone and I sold it for some dumb reason. Take care. Nathan

    Excellent looking knife Tobias

  • Tobias Gibson

Thanks Ken.  It was a Case Canoe that pretty much had everything.  The only thing that would've made it better is stag handles!

  • Max McGruder

Shep hills has this, there also may be a Trapperlock with a clip but all I could find at shep hill was smooth Chestnut bone but I think last year there was a red bone Trapperlock with a clip.

Exposing my ignorance....Someone told me that if there is a circle around the Case Logo on the handle it means it's a better Quality material handle, or Blades, than if it doesn't have a circle. I respect the person that told me this, so I hope there is some truth in this. Thanks Guys

  • Max McGruder

Steve not sure bout that statement but here are a couple synthetic handle knives with a circle

and now a MOP Trapper and a Canoe Stag Damascus and a Stag Clasp is the only one of the three that has the circle. The Stag Clasp is from 1977 so maybe with some older ones but the others with synthetic are from 1998.

  • Ken Spielvogel

    Some great looking knives Max

  • Lee Smith

I haven't been on here much lately because of work. Things are starting to slow down though. Here are a couple of my latest finds.
