NIce Hawkbill's Bill.  I agree with the others, I'm "green" with envy over those green bone handles.

  • Bill Fletcher

Those look great Bill! I'm partial to the green. Maybe because it looks like the green of a Christmas tree with a red ornament.

  • Bill Fletcher

    Thank you Craig,  Merry Christmas!

WooHoo I get to open my Case knife tomorrow!

  • David Gallup

I received for Christmas one of the walnut display boxes Case made for their recent run of V42 reproductions.  I have both an original V42 and a reproduction dated 1991.  The display box is meant to be mounted on a wall and the knife is held in position vertically by magnets that attract the cross guard.  Curiously, it works just fine with the reproduction knife but not with the original.  While the original is weakly attracted to the magnets, they are not nearly strong enough to hold the knife up.  The difference is at least 10:1 in holding power.  Curious if anyone else has run into this, has any idea what the original cross guard is made of (304 SS cold worked?) or any good work arounds?

Guys and Gals, I do not often do this but we have a member with a family health issue and he needs to sell a rare Case Collaboration knife.

The pics are here  look before and after that one and you will see them all

    Cesar's profile is here

Both Jeremy Buchanan and I have shipped knives and received knives from Cesar, so I know his quality as a seller and he has been a member for quite some time.

I know he received the knife straight from Tony Bose because I had a discussion with Tony about the knife.

Cesar is asking 450.00 which includes shipping with insurance and an international tracking number.

THIS is what makes this Arkansas Hunter rare, Tony does not normally stamp his shop on one and a bolster stamp is just as rare for him

If you are interested please contact Cesar directly and Thank you

Pres day at SMKW was a lot of fun.  It would not be presidents day without a photo bomb of Andy Larrison

The folks at Case that make this happen every year are just amazing

Early morning porch time brings everyone together for a little show and tell

and the ultimate destination for this show

Just read this on Shep. Hills page

A definite highlight of the SHCC Pre-Celebration Party was having an opportunity to welcome Kevin Holland, US Navy Seal & US Army Spec Ops (retired). With 16 deployments and nearly 2000 missions, two Purple Hearts and seven Bronze Stars, it was truly an honor and a privilege to hear him speak, and a solemn reminder that freedom isn't free. He is now using his experiences to help develop the Case Winkler "Skinner", a high performance utilitarian field knife that was recently released to the public.

A traditional offering to go side by side with a modern.  2018 is shaping up to be an exciting year

  • Syd Carr

Great video Jan, I enjoyed watching a master craftsman's gnarly old beat up hands as much as admiring the knives, thanks for posting it.

  • Clint Thompson

Nice looking knives. Case is stepping up for sure.

  • Jan Carter

Assisted opening liner lock and some good looking fixed blades?

  • Billy Oneale

I really like that assisted opening hunter.

  • Syd Carr

I do too, on the Mid Folding Hunter frame, which is a nice size to carry. The only thing I don't like about that frame is the belt clip, which is too stiff and positions the knife too high on the belt, but assisted opening is a cool feature.

LOTS of new Case stuff coming out! Check with your favorite Case dealers.......

  • J.J. Smith III

Of the 4 "Authorized" CASE dealers within 50 miles of me,  one of them had a total of 6 knives.  The CASE display held Yeti cups instead.

CASE really needs to revamp it's dealers list.

  • Tobias Gibson

I have a Cabelas with about 50 or so Case  Knives. Nothing special but better than nothing, I suppose. There prices are a tad high.

  • Max McGruder

I buy from four Case dealers all online, unless I go to a Case show at a dealer but that's always out of state. It's always a good time too!
