Anybody in the club have a Case Cheetah in Caramel that they would part with. I'm looking for one.. I have the cub but need big Bro!!!!

  • Dennis Hibar

Just heard something from a reliable source (though I do not have solid confirmation) that Case has ordered 500 billets of HHH Damascus. Neither Randy, nor Randy Jr have posted anything on iKC for a while, so haven't sent them a message.  If true, hope some of that makes its way to a seahorse whittler or two!!

I have been getting a few calls and decided I must announce this but know it is with the deepest of sorrow. Tony Bose has passed away, I have no details at this time and will leave it to the family to announce more. Rest in Peace my friend. My heart breaks at our loss but rejoices at your reunion with those gone before you

Very nice looking Older Haley's Comet Commemorative from 1986  Many other of the 51 patterns are much more expensive and look to be continue to gain in price.  This may be a sleeper for younger collectors! .

NEW MODERN KNIVES FROM CASE BLADE SHOW 2021

What will be your must have??

  • Jan Carter

So what do you think, is this one you have to have your hands on before ordering??

  • Jan Carter

I use this data base a great deal when looking to do research on Case products. KnifeDB.com is the only Case reference that attempts to show knives with their correct boxes. I Currently have identified 1,008 different Case factory boxes, and over 11,400 knives have a box linked to their listing. Remember that individual boxes did not become common until the 1980's.

For those wondering the Tony Bose HT Trapper stands for Hunter-Trader Its an old Remington Bullet Pattern

Where is the best place to begin searching for Case XX Prime Stag?

  • Chris Sparks

I just bought this blue bone knife. The blades have this on it CaseXX Bradford,PA MCMXCV on the main blade and BPB6447 SS on the other. Can someone tell me what its worth?

  • Chris Sparks

why would someone say that a Case 1995 red bone RSC 6308 SS Whittler be rare? I'm new at collecting these.

  • Syd Carr

If it's an ebay listing a knife bought yesterday at Ace Hardware is described as "vintage" or "old", especially by professional sellers, don't fall for it. Do some research with experts like those here before hitting that buy button. When buying knives online you MUST know what you are looking at to not get snookered.

  • Mike Bryant

I agree Syd Carr !  I see many what I believe are WAY over priced Knives on Freebay!  Especially in the last Year. I guess the dealers are trying to get some of that Government $$$$.  You DO  need to get the Books and study the pattern your collecting .  Do this before you hit the Buy it Now Button or place a final bid on a Going too cheap knife. Their are all sorts of traps on freebay.  From Shill Bidders to out right liars set out to  take your $$$.  I am sure some miss labeled or termed rare knives are honest mistakes but others are just to deceive the Novice buyers. Bottom line be sure before you put your money down you know what your buying. OH and my favorite ebay line is " Some have told me this is a Fantasy, Fake Reproduction, but others including Majors Dealers have said it is the real thing.

  • Mike Bryant

Chris Sparks. Back in the 1990's their were several Tang Stamps put out by Case as SFO.  I would believe yours probably came through SMKW.    https://www.iguide.net/708261_item_1995_case_xx_bradford_sc6308_ss_...      The link above is the only thing i could find on possible value.  Remember this is probably a DEALER you would be communicating with!!!  My advice to EVERYONE is be sure you like what you collect and collect what you like, because it might be a while before you can sell them and make a profit. Or you can be like Me & sell some at a loss!!

  • Chris Sparks

    Thanks for the info Mike.

  • Chris Sparks

What would you say that's worth? Its a individual that has it he asking 125.00

  • Mike Bryant

Sorry Chris,  but I  can't advise you to or not too buy the knife.   Everyone has to decide what a knife is worth to them. Good Luck Collecting. You might also check out.

New active member. I have a question. There is a specific Case knife I am looking very diligently for. Do I post that here or elsewhere?

  • David

Hello to all, Does anyone know the history of the Case Sleeveboard pattern or where I could find further detail? Internet hasn’t yielded much that I could find.

Can anybody give me info about a Case XX  323-6 sheath knife?? It was issued between 1965 and 1980 during the Vietnam war.

  • Eric Hall

I have a Case XX 323-5 my Dad gave to me as a young boy in the mid-1960's.  I would also love to see any info about these models.  Mine saw some heavy use through the years.  I will try to upload a couple photos.  The bottom half of the sheath is original, but the top half was made by a saddle maker because a teething puppy got to it.

  • Ellis H. Roberson

    Hi Eric,

I have 2 of the 323-5's, several of the 323-6's 2 of the 365 SAB's and  the 316-5SSP. These are all vintage Case knives.

  • Eric Hall

    Nice collection, Ellis!

  • Ellis H. Roberson

    Hey Eric,

One that I didn't mention was a Case Twin Finn set that was made between 1940 and 1965.  Both knives have  wooden handles and snap into the sheaths.  I really like that one. never seen another one like it.l

  • Eric Hall

Wow!  Your Twin Finn does indeed sound unique!

  • Ellis H. Roberson

Maybe i can get the Twin Finn uploaded in the club.. I 've never seen a twin finn anything like it.  It is 2 separate knive in their sheaths, not a piggyback.

  • Eric Hall

It would be nice to see it.

  • Ellis H. Roberson

    Eric,

I am having problems uploaded it into the club. I have changed computers and this one is not downloading like I want it to. I will continue to try. Sorry!!

  • Eric Hall

Hey, no problem!  Please do not feel any stress over this.

Help needed in identifying Dealer of the Muskrat 2014  125th Annv and Person on the rear Bolster, Thanks.

  • ROBERT E ACHTERBERG

I don't see a person on rear bolster. You mean signature

    on the left bolster?

  • Mike Bryant

    Yes Sir. the signature.

  • KnifeMaker

    Andy Larrison

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that is Ed Jessup's signature.  I'm going to ask on another forum to confirm this though.

  • KnifeMaker

    Andy Larrison

Also, is there any artwork and/or etching on the pile side of the muskrat Mike?

  • Mike Bryant

No Nothing on the reverse side. Thanks for any additional information you may come across. I am leaning to it being a SFO for Shepherd hills. the 125th Anniversary is the only reason I bought it.
