Tuna Valley Cutlery Company is an exclusive line of traditional knives geared towards the contemporary collector. They are only made in limited edition runs, and they are known for their superior specialty steels, and the most beautiful, natural handle materials.
Quick Tip: I noticed on my TVCC Stag Lock Backs that they felt a little gritty while opening and closing. After looking I noticed that, like alot of knives, there was alot of carbon build up in the joint. I added a few drops of my secert knife oil which I'll share with you guys since you're my pals. Its a mixture of Z-Max engine treatment and a synthetic knife oil. The Z-Max dissolves carbon build up and acts as a rust preventitive. After a few drops of that, the swing guards are smooth as silk. This will work on any folding knife. Just thought I'd share that with everybody just in case any of you were having the same problem.
So I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that Greg @ TSA knives will no longer be a distributor for TVCC. Those of you that watch TSA knives can read his reasoning on his blog. He simply has very many irons in the fire. So here is the amazing and wonderful peice to go with that. (straight from Greg)
"So I made the decision to focus on what I've been doing and try to do it a little better (and more of it). Many thanks to all of you that have purchased Tuna Valley knives from me and going forward, you should contact Courtney Daniels at: court_22_03@yahoo.com "
Very nice. I like the design and the scales. When I get my first TUNA I will give it a good look and put it in my article about Traditional Vs Tactical for LEO. I have a Case, a GEC and coming is a TUNA Valley. On the tactical side I will have a CRKT, SOG and some other yet to be decided. In fact I will let my buds here at iKC pick the last tactical for me to put in this article. We will start a vote. The tactical folding knife (In most cases LEO don't carry fixed bladed knives on the beat.) with the most votes will be used in this article. Please keep in mind LEO normally can not afford to buy custom knives or knives over $200. In fact the average price for them is around $70 for a knife. Many carry the cheaper S&W and other off shore (west shore) knives. I am looking forward to hear from my buds....boy and girls.
Ron, if you happen to pass through Penn's woods, look me up. I'll be sure to have a fresh bottle of Franks Red Hot ready to go. Might even let you shoot some guns.
I'm sorry, but Ryan Daniels did I hear you right, you have a VIP pass for the Blade Show, to someone from this group. Well just happens I'll be there, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I'm not sure what it means, but I'd be happy to find out.
I sent you a message to be added as a friend, and as soon as I receive a reply I'll be happy to send you my address. This is very cool, thank you so much. I looked you up in my latest Blade mag with the floor plan for the show this year and saw your booth, number 74 for those who are interested, and I'll be sure to come on by and introduce myself so save something nice for a homeboy! I'll see you there Friday.
My pleasure, I've been saving for this for a couple of years now not that easy when your coming in from California. I think that's a great idea love to meet all my iKC brothers, and sisters.
I'm sure everyone on this list has gone though this once in their lives, yes I'm talking the dreaded kitchen remodel. Good lord, for the last three months I've been for all intents and peruses under house arrest. I am now free again, and getting ants in my pants about this years Blade show. I know I was going to be buying a knife from Ryan anyway, so him offering the VIP pass makes it all the better!
Thanks Sue, I"m just getting started with the pocket folders, and don't know the players that well guess that's why I'm on this list. See you all there!
Well so far it is just a pair of Kings. Decided to buy the third after Courtney had already mailed the original box. Thats OK, the waiting is part of the fun in knife buying
Jan, this pattern has always interested me, but like you I never made a move on it. I still haven't, but I'm getting closer. I appreciate the history behind the pattern, I just need to get one so I can appreciate the pattern as well.

Eddie,
Not this month, the budget is a little low. Too bad too because I really wanted this swing guard. There will certainly be one in my future
