A few weeks back, I posted pics of my first Tuna Valley Cutlery, Co. 2012, Cotton King an 1 of 50 Ebony handled Cotton Sampler with: Velvet case and Certificate included; Length closed 4 1/2 in. ; Length open 8 1/8 in.; Steel - 1095 High Carbon that was manufactured by Great Eastern and distributed by Daniels Family Knives.  With the
Tuna Valley Cutlery release of two additional Cotton Kings: One being an Amber stag handled 1 of 30 and the other a Burnt stag handled 1 of 25. Count me
as a bonified knifeaholic, happy with his trio of Tuna Valley Cotton Samplers.  The folks at Daniels family Knives have been super great to work with.  Thanks and best regards

  • Jan Carter

  • Jan Carter

I wonder if it is Daniels Baby time yet?

  • Bill Fletcher

Sure enough that is a great looking sleeve board whittler!

  • Billy Oneale

    That is sweet, Ron.
  • Paul Slusser

Can someone tell me who has made knives for the Daniels family Tuna Valley? I thought they were all made by GEC but then I heard Queen made the swing guard.

  • johnny twoshoes

    Yes Paul, that is true.

If you have not heard, it appears as though the Daniels family will be acquiring the Queen cutlery factory as well. Only time will tell though.

  • Jan Carter

Paul, the swing guard , the black ebony and the 2 newest (sleeveboards) all made at Queen.  Different types of knives and those that GEC has not done a pattern on yet

  • Paul Slusser

Thanks. I have the swing guard. I knew GEC has not manufactured that pattern or made a knife with the ATS-34 steel. It will be interesting to see what the future holds. Thanks again Johnny and Jan.

  • Jan Carter

I am with you on that Paul.  Can't wait to see the next adventure
