I just receive an E-mail from Kifer Cutlery , my Blue Camel bone GEC#23LL has been shipped.  I am sweating it out on the Mesquite-wood #23LL invoice.  I got skunked on the GEC#29 Snakewood , last year.  It aint yours until it's in your hand.

I just paid  for my Mesquite Wood GEC#23LL invoice.  I bought a CASE XX Pocket Worn Harvest Bone Tribal lock knife ,  Seal1 CLP paste , and a braided lanyard black leather.  I had to prove , I was thankful.

The Antique Autumn wavy rogers jigged bone GEC#33 Conductor knives were released today.   No news or photos on the GEC#33 Sambar Stag knives yet.  A GEC#35 "Beer & Sausage" knife has been announced.   This #35 knife is in production.  I believe the scales will be Autumn Leaf jigged bone.

Mike Latham : Owner of CollectorKnives.net    ---  His ranch was hit by 102MPH winds for at least 15 minutes , about two days ago.  His family is picking up the pieces.  Pray for him and his family.   Thank God , no lives were lost.  Give him at least a week to get back to business.

  • Clint Thompson

That is some fast winds. We get 60-80 at least once a year here in Oklahoma. A Blessing no lives were lost. The concept of this coming knife looks to be a good one to collect.

Great Eastern Cutlery is having a Pennsylvania Wounded Warrior  raffle. August 14,2020   235220 UN-X-LD Sambar Stag "Bullet Shield  ( 1 of 2 )   I  guess the factory museum gets one two.  Check it out on the right side of the GEC Home page.

I talked to Mr. Frank today of Franks Classic knives.   GEC did run out of bovine cattle bone during the production of the  Northfield #23LL Trapper Antique Autumn bone knives.  Those knives and the Northfield #23LL "Bullet" Redtail jigged knives will be assembled later this year ,after more cattle bone is back in stock.  A Sambar Stag #33 should be the next release.   Parts for a #35 run are being made right now.  Maher & Grosh will have a knife coming out in August ,2020.  I believe that will  be a #35 in Gabon Ebony wood.  Any other scales for Maher & Grosh will have to be assembled later.  (not confirmed) That is all I know right now.

(8/7/2020) Those will shipped out next week.   400 pieces of each (not confirmed)

The Sambar Stag #23 with the bullet shield is the best looking GEC stag knife ever. I just paid my invoice for the GEC#33 Conductor Antique Autumn wavy jigged bone knife.  The Sambar stag #33 is next and GEC will start  shipping them out to dealers on 8/10/2020.

8/11/2020  A GEC dealer dropped three different GEC knives today.  Those sold out in less than ten minutes.  Woodland Micarta #23LL , Antique Autumn jigged bone #33 Conductor knife , & a batch of Northfield Antique Autumn Natural bone #23LL knives.   This might be a good sign that GEC received some new bovine cattle bone. All the parts have been made , just waiting on the bone.  GEC also posted a "What's at the END of the Hall ?" photo.   "CLUES !"  The #35 BEER & SAUSAGE" is going into assembly.  Maybe a #47 & a #74 also  There is a funny silver thing above the "Cobra" 's head.  It looks like a pile of knife parts.  If those bone parts are at the factory , we are rocking !  (Not Confirmed) You got to have bone or some other scale material to assemble !  Things are looking up !

Great Eastern Cutlery has posted the new Beer& Sausage schedule on their web-sight.   Autumn leaf jigged bone . ebony-wood , and natural canvas micarta.  Yall need to contact iKC GEC dealers NOW to pre-order one or all.  Kifer Cutlery Classics -- JSR Sports & More  --  TSA Knives  --- Blue Creek Cutlery    These knives are super hot !    (HEADS UP !  YOU SNOOZE !  YOU LOOSE !) Most will be sold before the release date.   All will be sold in minutes after posting.

  • Ralph Nelson

Thanks for the heads up Kenneth. I got one pre-ordered in ebony. Best wishes

Looks like the #35 Beer & Sausage will be made in very low numbers.  I can't give an actual number. (not confirmed)   You have to choose which one you like best.   Many dealers hate pre-orders and this will create a knife buying frensy on these knives when posted for sale .    I am signed up on notifications with every GEC dealer.  That might help.  Contacting iKC supporter GEC dealers "NOW" is your smartest bet ! And I takes the stress out of buying GEC knives.

GEC posted photos of the Beer & Sausage combs.  Photos of the spear blades should be posted soon.

I was just on the Great Eastern Cutlery web-sight .   #74 Mustang triple line bolsters are being made.  The "Things to Ponder" clues showed a horse with a mounted saddle.  I  believe this run will have a two blade GEC#74 Saddle Trapper knife.  The "Beer & Sausage"  shields have been placed on the Natural Canvas Micarta #35 B&S knives.

  • Fred Kemp

I would like to see the Mustang in the #74 pattern with elk handles.

Well it is 6AM on 9/11/2020 !    It was 19 years ago , all of our lives were changed because of Muslim Terrorist and please do not forget all those that died in Benghazi 9/11/2012 !   -------    I just checked the Maher & Grosh web-sight.    The Appaloosa Bone M&G SFO #35 ("The Trapper" $1.50 Steel) two blade knife is the only ones left. Those won't last long !

All the M&G #35 knives have vanished in less than 20 hours.   I would guess that would be about 400 knives total.

It is 6am in the morning.  I opened my email to see that Ken Mundhenk has sent me   package.    I have not ordered anything from Blue Creek Cutlery.   It was my Maher & Grosh Order.   I was very baffled !   Too early in the morning.  I wish I could of bought the cocobolo and the ebony-wood #35 M&G knives.  I needed to save for the better GEC#74 Mustang run and hopefully for GEC#74 Saddle Trappers too.  Blue Creek Cutlery !!!! Did I win other knife from iKC ? No Dummy me !   Baw-ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha !   I had a brain injury in 1989. I aint right in the head ! I am all left !    Baw-ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha ! Great News !   A Pennsylvania Federal Judge has just ruled that scumbag P.A. Governor Tom Wolf is unconstitutional .   Tom Wolf will try to appeal , he has been embarrassed .   Not one "China Virus" death in Titusville , PA.   This ruling will protect W.R. CASE XX/Zippo and Great Eastern Cutlery from Tom Wolf tyranny. I have faith in our small businesses to do the right thing to protect their employees and their customers ! I joined "Knife Rights" last month. ($32 yearly)  "Essential Tools , Essential Rights !"

I ate wild pig pork chops and The best sausage sold at the Piggy Wiggly   last night.  I have always eaten my food too fast all my life. I used my GEC#35 B&S ebony-wood  knife and I slowly  enjoyed my food. I have  two GEC#35 B&S Autumn leaf jigged knives coming in the mail.  My neighbor freaked out over my knife.  I told him if both knives look the same , I will give him one. The dark one look more like burnt sierra jigged , I seen some with one white edges and some have really bright colors.   I was drunk , first time in six months.  I hope they both come in different.  I have the best neighbors.  Baw-ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha !  Ha !

I sent these two  knives to a friend in CA for repair and customizing.  The 2016ish Queen Mountain Man Lock-back jammed the first time I opened it.  My friend fixed it and it opens so much more smoothly now.  I had the main skinner blade removed on this 2020 Northfield  #23 Antique Autumn Natural jigged bone Pioneer Trapper knife.  I love the phat spey blade on this knife.  I use the spey as the main blade on all of my GEC#23 Pioneer Trapper knives. The pull on the single blade Northfield custom is now a 5-6 pull.  The nail nick is on the right side of the blade , so this is the perfect EDC knife for one arm left hand me.

  • Richard Schuchman

Does your friend work on other people's knives, too? I have the 23LL beavertail and it's a nail breaker. I bought a pouch, which I like, but its cumbersome for edc.
  • Ralph Nelson

Looks like he did a great job Ken. I love both the blades but that Spey by its self looks awesome. I've always liked the spey too. Reminds me of the Case Classic Jumbo Trappers. Thanks for sharing. Here's a pic of my 23 in a Autumn setting.

Richard Schuchman ,  try this first.   Take some gun patches and clean off all that buffing compound in the track , oil and repeat !  Take an old t-shirt and wrap it around the blade.  Work that joint back and forth a thousand times while watching TV. It is a little more difficult with a liner lock.  I do it with one left hand and the knife tween my thighs. Work that knife , rock that blade back and forth.  There is a guy that does knife repairs and custom work on iKC .  I don't want to break any iKC rules.

Hey Richard ---   www.schleyscustomknives@gmail.com   This guy supports iKC , check him out first . after you work the blade .

  • Richard Schuchman

Ok, I'll try not to watch anything that'll make me jumpy while working the blade! If I lose a finger, I'm mailing to you!

Hey Ralph Nelson , Friend you scored a 10 ! I only spotted one that I liked better. It looked like someone ripped a small patch a dark skin off of it.  These #23 knives are amazing.   I pre-paid for the liner-lock natural bone.  I am waiting on the Redtail jigged #23LL and both will be shipped out together.  Both Northfield GEC#23/23LL knives will be released and shipped out after the yearly shut-down.   The bovine cattle bone is here.   The best GEC knives have not been made yet.  2021 will be even better.

  • Clint Thompson

Beautiful looking knives. When do you think they will do another Cotton King type knife. I have one now but I need one for my Uncle Mike. He raises cotton in Kansas. Around 300 acres this year.

These 74s turned out great. Who's going to have them available first?

  • In Memoriam

    Kenneth W. Hill

Hey Ralph , These GEC#74 knives are going to be the hardest to find.  200 pieces of each choice.   You are really late for reserves !  Never give up fighting for your dream knife. Go to Every GEC dealer web-sight.  Register and sign in.  Join any kind of notification emails.  I always buy from iKC supporters first , but this time it is all out war. Every dealer will sell out in 5 minutes or less.  The really big dealers that never take reserve orders , they are your only hope right now.  If you have a really good eye-phone , you have a chance.  I have an old jalopy computer. I am still fighting.  Kifer Cutlery is not taking reserves.  iKC supporters !  Ask Mr. Kifer ,"Will he be putting his knives on E-bay ?". Mr. Kifer had problems with people backing out of reserves.  Ask questions to give yourself a better chance. Ask Mr. Kifer his plan ???? "GEC KNIFE COLLECTING IS WAR !"    Evil-bay might be your only chance.

Hey Everybody , I truly believe there will be a GEC#74 Saddle Trapper 200 pieces per choice run is next. (unconfirmed)  "Things to Ponder??" CLUE : a horse with a saddle and two snakes --- That clue aint a #74 Mustang , it has #74 Saddle Trapper two blades all over it.   The GEC#19 Little Rattler schedule was put up and taken down in less that 20 hours. The GEC web master made a boo boo , I believe.  Check the GEC Schedule from 9am to 5pm everyday , multiple times. If you see a GEC#74 Saddle Trapper schedule contact TSA knives , JSR Sports & More , or Blue Creek Cutlery might be able to help you.   Stay alert !
