Survival and Bushcraft go hand in hand with knives! This group is about anything survival/bushcraft! Show us your videos...what's in your Altoids survival kit? What kind of paracord wrap do you prefer for your neck knife? That kind of stuff...
I couldn't agree more with the premise of this group. Knives, bushcraft, and survival are indeed related and necessary topics, and we should endeavor to learn as much as possible and consistently improve our skills.
if anyone has a k-bar heavy bowie knife can you tell me what you think about it because im planing on getting one soon but i cant find it in a store near me to hold it to see if i like it so i guess im this is my est bet
Hey Jake, I have the KaBar heavy bowie and it is absolutely amazing! Its my main bushcraft knife right now. The handles have somewhat of a rubbery feeling that helps keep it in your hand as well as helps absorb impact if your chopping with it. As the name says, Its a heavy knife but for wilderness type activities, that might be what you want. I hghly recomend the knife.
There is this place near where I live, it's an absolute sanctuary, rarely anyone goes to this place because it's so hard to navigate to.
Once you are there, it's pretty much all yours to camp on and stuff, and ALOT of acreage for a lot of people to share at once.. It's barely disturbed by civilization and I hope it stays that way for as long as possible.
Hey everyone, thanks and welcome to the Modern Survivalist Group, don't be afraid to comment or start discussions! If you want to learn more about bushcraft then don't be afraid to ask questions. We are all trying to learn more about bushcraft so we can put our knowledge to the test when we are outdoors.
