Spyderco fans rejoice! This is the group for all Spyderco fans and aficionados for all things Spyderco this is the place to come and hang out.
I like Spyderco knives. The thing is, I have only ever bought 1 Spyderco knife and that G-10 Manix 2 was traded long ago. But the Spydercos keep gravitating toward me, thanks to my friend Joe. He loves Spyderco and he loves giving Spydercos as gifts. All of these are from him. Thanks Joe for the Spyder infestation!!!
I have here the Szabo folder, Endura Damascus in Orange bone, Blue Manix2 Lightweight, Newest member is the Domino flipper and the 1st gift from Joe is the Caly3 Damascus. All of these are keepers for the obvious reason....

Great looking knives Brad. I was considering a PM2 a few years ago but didn't get one. A friend in Canada wanted two but the company wouldn't ship outside the US so he had them send the knives to me and I sent them to him. I held them in my hand and the PM2 just didn't click. Still I've been tempted to get one so I could use it for a while. Sometimes a knife (and other things) grow on you. It seemed strange that I didn't like the feel when so many others love it. The PM2 is about as "Spyderco" as you can get. It's one of the time tested models. Everything about the knife screams quality. Blade steel, handle material, lock, everything. I've bought a few knives knowing I may not like it and will sell or trade it. The PM2 may be another. Maybe I'll love it after using it. I tried to get my buddy in Canada to let me use one of his dealer exclusive PM2's to dig in the dirt with to cut roots and stuff like that. He said he'd rather I didn't. :)

I like the Military, but after awhile the size and the liner lock made the ease of use not so "easy". The compression lock is a great lock for 1-hand closing. The smaller blade and handle are easier to carry. I can now work these into my carry rotation. But I think I will be carrying either one or the other for the next few weeks.
