My first ever knife was a case fixed blade hunter that my Dad got me from Tennessee.still got it now 40 or more years later, now I'm interested in the folders, can't pick a favourite, they all look good to me...though I do like the seahorse whittler, and the Russlock.and I was thinking about getting a trapperlock , but with Customs being what they are in my country I may leave that for a while..love Delrin as well.though most folks like stag or jigged bone...don't know why nut it looks classy to me ( LOL)
they are fine looking knives with out a doubt.just looking at that picture makes me want one more, and all the different materials...caribean blue!!.......cool knives.
I`m a Case collector club member, and if you haven`t been to Bradford for the club celebration you need to try to get there the next time they have one.
I am also a Case collector and club member, but when I first started collecting swore I wouldn't be. It's a good story and when Fred opens up a "Best Case Story" forum topic, I'll share it.
Hey there Roger, haven't been to Bradford yet but Ill be retiring this year so mabey Ill have more time to do some traveling when and where I want.lol I do try to get to the Roundups & Presidents shows when they are in my area. Terry
I am a life member in the CCC. I collect Russlocks, and my wife collects Tiny Toothpicks. we have both visited the factory and had a wonderful time at the cellabration last July-This group sounds like it is going to be a great place to grow as a collector
I love it Steve.
Do we have a little- mine's bigger than yours- going on here.
Seriously, I'd love to catch a fish like that. Never have. Don't guess I will til I go fishing either, eh? What did you catch it on?
Terry,if your a Case fan I`m sure you`ve read some of the books on the history of Case.If you haven`t ,do.When you make it to Bradford you`ll get alot more out of it.The names of the past will be like old friends.Plus ,the surrounding area has so much knife history.
No Scott you know fisherman would never do that. It was just an invite to come to Sam Rayburn in Zavalla TX.
Caught on watermelon red Stick bait no weight.
Hey Guys- just got word from Fred at Case. He is swamped trying to get out of the office to head out of town on vacation. He wanted me to let you know and will come see us when he gets back (heck, I take my laptop with me when I go on family vacations?!).
Uh! Sorry to be so long in joining this group, but I thought everyone was a Case Fan, at least in the USA. I would believe the word CASE drives the Collecting Hobby. Maybe out their in a Galaxy far, far, away their are those that don't have at least a few knives with the word CASE located on the Handle, or Blade (Blades) in their Collections. Were I have trouble, is deciding which Patterns to Collect. I guess I am a Horder not a Collector, because Collectors from what I read pick one or maybe two pattern to collect & stick with collecting those types knives. Me I usually want them all and have to limit myself.
Hi to all - and thanks to everybody who's signed on as Case fans of iknifenetwork! Steve, that is one beeeuuutiful fish! Now let's get to that story Scott...
It is so exciting to be a Case Fan. I see some familiar faces. Bob Picklesimer, JJ, Scott, and Mike Latham. A famous Oklahoma knife dealer and collector. What a plesant surprise! He is involved in our latest "Roundtable" on the Case forum.
A very generous person, indeed...

Here's a flash. While you guys have been sitting around snorting your hot chocolate through a malt straw, I've been hard at work trying to figure out how to get the Artisan's Seahorsie from the event tour on the 13th. I found 10 of them! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA ME!
They seem a little pricey, but they're the only game in town. The price is $90.00 shipped. Call these people and they'll take your credit card information. Do NOT have then shipped UPS! The price for shipping with UPS, they tell me, is 20 bucks! I told them to ship them USPS. Even insured shouldn't cost more than 8 dollars... so she charged me $10.00. Oh well... They're still the only place you can get that particular one. There are supposed to be 5 different ones all together.
