I used to have a pocket worn Copperlock years ago. I was going to carry it, but it was so nice I couldn't do it! LOL! Smoooth as butter!

  • Jan Carter

That Sod buster is just fantastic in bone!  It is good to see them step back and create  a looker

I also have a Copperhead coming, and a Slimline (brown delrin).

  • Clint Thompson

Here are two single bladed trappers with the thumb stud and liner lock.  The yellow handle version is my EDC and is holding up well.  The other is a 6154KC SS with Chestnut bone scales (handles).  Love both of these knives.  I suggested to Moore Maker Knives to make a single bladed trapper with thumb stud and liner lock (made by Canal Street) and....they have one now in their catalog.

I got four, count them 4 new Peanuts today! I'll try to get pictures up soon 'cause I know everyone is waiting with bated breath! LOL!

I couldn't afford any more knives until next month, so my wife, Cass, bought these for me!  No, you can't have her.

  • Max McGruder

Lookin' forward to these new Peanuts! Way to go Cass!!

  • Clint Thompson

    Craig...

No but she could adopt me.

  • Max McGruder

Ya Clint, you could be the adopted child that doesn't live at home but likes to receive gifts.

Unless Craig, there is room at the house for him, he could probably help with the chores! ROTFL!

  • Clint Thompson

You bet.  I am a handy man for sure.  I would be the best adopted Oldman-child ever.

  • Tobias Gibson

Sounds like you got a keeper there, Craig.   Someone needs to take someone out to dinner!   Can't wait to see the peanuts.

I talked to Fred at Case today and the Sod Buster in Bone will be out in June.  However, I have three other Sod Buster's on the way. I will post pics once received.

  • Lee Smith

Thinking about starting me a collection of sod busters. there is just something about them that I like.

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

The sod buster is just a nice basic design. Clean and simple. A SodBuster Jr. was all I carried many, many moons ago.

  • Clint Thompson

    Lee..

I am with you on the Sod Busters.  My first Case was a Sod Buster.  This design is just a good solid design made for hard work.

A couple of weeks ago I asked about whether anyone had done business with southerntackle.com, and I think I asked about bayoucityknives.com.

Well, I played Guinea Pig and ordered from both.Four knives from southerntackle.com and one knife from bayoucityknives.com.

Everything went great with both; shipped fast, great prices, and southerntackle.com had free shipping for a order over a hundred dollars, and bayoucityknives.com had only $6.95 shipping!

Also both have more than just Case and they have a good stock.

    A couple of questions;

Does anyone know, or have a link to the information, of what patterns were made in Crandall Cutlery, and the Second Cut Antique Bone? Thanks

  • Clint Thompson

Some new Case knives acquired.  A few Sod Busters I received.  The bone handle Sod Buster will be out in June.

  • Billy Oneale

I only have 1 yellow sod buster. Those are nice.

    Craig Henry

Yeah, I guess I should. I'm getting so caught up in Case again. Maybe a "tramp stamp" tattoo?

  • Tobias Gibson

Better the small of back than on the neck, Craig!

    Go with this one:

  • Max McGruder

That is a good one but a guys tramp stamp is on the stomach. That would look great there!

  • Gerald Hines

And Mr. Max is just the man to do it for you.

Now here's something you don't see everyday!

  • Lee Smith

Man that would look good on the top of my display case.

  • Stanley May

Lee, I don't like saying this, but I think it would look even better on top of my display cabinet.

  • Lee Smith

lol I know just what you mean.
