Howard, you are right. I just looked at my Case Collector which came today. It would appear they probably don't even make them until all orders are in so they know how many to make. I didn't notice any of that when I ordered on line. So instead of waiting days or even weeks, I am going to have to wait months! Next year I will wait til near the deadline to order so my money isn't tied up and I don't have to wait so long.
I feel your pain, Charles. It's a tough wait for the club knives, but worse is the quarterly raffle when you don't get chosen for the opportunity to buy a matched set of something you really want.
Oh Charles now I know what you ordered. Yes the wait will be awhile sorry to say and even waiting til the end to order doesn't mean it'll come sooner you'll wait then also.
I've been there before, it's nice when you finally get them but the wait is murder.
Then you have the sets that you prepay and wait to see if your name is picked, I did get picked once and lost a couple.
The forum knife we paid for in Jan. and it's supposed to be shipped in July, and we started the whole process last Sept.
Charles they usually make a number of the Regular member and Junior Knives early for the people that just order those knives, the Lifer sets knives usually take a little longer because they are put in line to have the Lifer number engraved on the set. They have a fairly good idea of how many they can make and not have extras.
Woo Hoo, Woo Hoo, they are coming! I just talked to Case. The Junior Member Annual Knife for my grandson was shipped today. My Regular Member knife will ship tomorrow. Also while on the phone I asked if it might be possible to get a 2012 Junior Member knife. There were a few left so one will ship tomorrow with my Regular Member knife. I consider the 2012 knife my grandson's first birthday present. This year's and each succeeding year's knife will be my birthday present to him. So for his 16th birthday I hope to present him with 16 Junior Member knives.
The 2012 Junior Member knife is a crimson bone copperhead.
Thanks. That 'Brick Red' and this Sawcut 'Olive Green' Father's Day 2013 Exclusive were two that my daughter gave me as early Father's Day gifts. Her birthday is also this Sunday but unfortunately she's almost 2,200-miles away at grad school so.......... BUT she'll be home for a 3-week visit next month so there's something to look forward to!
Saw a picture of the jigged Buffalo horn. I like it. At least in that picture. I'll have to get the Stockman at least. I still need to get a fixed blade in the Buffalo horn too. So many knives....
I EDC a Mini Blackhorn. I got it at Lowes also. They had them on a small hanging display at the front of the store. They didn't really have a separate knife section.

Those new member Peanuts have been made for a couple of years so they were on hand. Check the tang stamp and see if it's not and earlier year.

Lee,
I am not an expert on this type of knife, but it looks to be a Gentleman's Pen, especially in MOP, but three blades might make it a "Senator".
