I hear the train a comin', it's rollin' 'round the bend, and I ain't seen the third Wednesday since I don't know when.....

  • Paul Work

    Cut it out Craig...LOL

  • Paul Work

Picked up a couple mini Blackhorns at Lowes today.

Lowes? I don't think our Lowes has any Case knives. What section do they keep them in?

Saw a picture of the jigged Buffalo horn. I like it. At least in that picture. I'll have to get the Stockman at least. I still need to get a fixed blade in the Buffalo horn too. So many knives....

I EDC a Mini Blackhorn.  I got it at Lowes also.  They had them on a small hanging display at the front of the store.  They didn't really have a separate knife section.

  • Paul Work

Blister packs at the end of an aisle in the tool section.

I bought them for stash knives, but like it so much I'm putting one in the EDC rotation.  Gonna stash the other in the car.  I might have to pick up another...or two.

I also bought a Case Caliber at Lowes.  I bought it for a replacement for my Mini Blackhorn when I lost it once.  (Fortunately i found it two weeks later while walking back to my truck after deer hunting.)

I like the Mini Blackhorn better than the Caliber.  The Blackhorn feels better in my hand.

  • Paul Work

Yeah, it handles better than the Caliber for me.  It's a well thought out design, and you sure can't beat the price.

  • Michelle "Fingers" DellaPelle

Lowes store have case pocket knife?

  • Paul Work

Our Lowes carries a few very basic working models...The Mini Blackhorn, 225L Caliber, and Sod Buster Jr.

  • Paul Work

They may carry others, but those are the ones I've seen there.

All my Lowes store had was the Mini Blackhorn and the Caliber in blister packs hanging on a display with a few other brands.  I bought the Caliber when i lost the Blackhorn because at that time they were out of Blackhorns.  They about $12 at my store.

I better start looking better at our Lowes! I might get a Mini Blackhorn for an "abuse" knife on the end of the kitchen counter.

  • Max McGruder

Both are sweet lookin but I like the Deep Canyon!

But yeah, I've been wanting something in Deep Canyon.

  • Max McGruder

Deep Canyon still but that green with the jiggin is the best. Although that color if Deep Canyon should be a constant staple, like the Pocket Worn Red Bone.

I'm torn between the Deep Canyon and the Bermuda Green......I think.

The Bermuda Green looks, somewhat, like the Hunter Green I have on my 032, and I love that. But that Deep Canyon is cool.

Yes. I feel it in my bones. My hit-enter-button finger is itchy.

  • Paul Work

So what and how many is it gonna be?

I'm a little short this month (it's a long boring story), but one that I will get, come hailstones or high water, is a pearl 33. After that.......it hurts trying to decide. I'm gonna pop a vessel.

  • Billy Oneale

I like the Deep Canyon. Good looking stuff.

    Craig Henry

You're right Billy, that Deep Canyon is good looking!

Saw a picture of the new jigged Buffalo horn. I like it.

And, the word is, a Seahorse will be made with it and out around October.

  • Jan Carter

Seahorse, breaking fee of the vault?  Someone get the smelling salts for JJ

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Yep, the Seahorse be a comin'!  Can you hear the hoof beats....or, uh splashes?

Here's a picture of the Jigged Buffalo Horn....

I did the deed. Knife stuff in coming.

  • Tobias Gibson

Okay... I'm coming out of the closet.  I do not like the Seahorse Whittler.  I know I'm supposed to but I don't.  There I said it.  (and yes I do suddenly feel like I'm in that dream where you find yourself back in high school sitting at your desk naked.)

  • Paul Work

    That was a dream?....

The Seahorse is a good basic "Wharncliffe" pattern. I've always liked that type of pattern, therefore I like the Case Seahorse.

  • Lee Smith

I need the Jigged Buffalo Horn

  • Paul Work

I like the Seahorse.  I'd like it better as a half whittler.  I'm weird that way.

  • Tobias Gibson

I do believe it is very popular.  I'm very happy for those who collect them.  I can think of several patterns I'd rather see produced, however.

  • Jan Carter

LOL, it was the predecessor to the seahorse that got me hooked so I still love it

And.......I have just joined the Seahorse club.

Lee Smith - "I need the Jigged Buffalo Horn"

    There's supposed to be a Stockman too. I'm hoping it's the 33, 032, or 75.

  • Howard P Reynolds

Hahahaha.  Way to go Tobias!  Can't like every pattern or you'd be broke collectin em; especially on that "Third Wednesday" "Fixed Income".  Not to mention that if a guy likes every pattern he's wishy-washy and can't take a stand/make a decision (unless he's rich as Croesus where he can buy em all).  Now, a Canoe don't look nuttin like a Congress, and a fella can like both but I understand if he likes one or the other.  Couldn't give me a Cheetah, but if folks like em it's okay with me.  Naturally, they are a bit off plumb, but as they say down south: "Bless their hearts".  Hahahahaha.

    Craig Henry

Well, on this haul, I have several "firsts". First Seahorse, first Case Congress, and first Case pearl (33 Stockman).

    Now, can I be patient?

Oh yes, I also ordered a Case cap.....the one with the mesh back......for my hot head.

Hey, look at this.........Snow Leopard Jasper

  • Clint Thompson

    Craig...

    Snow Leopard Jasper Stockman.  Nice.

  • Howard P Reynolds

That is pretty enough for a dress knife.

  • Paul Work

    You need that Craig.

  • Max McGruder

I have to say that the Jigged Buffalo horn looks purdy good! I like that one for sure!

  • Howard P Reynolds

    Great looking Case knives!

  • Bill Fletcher

Nice shipment of knives Ivars.  I like em all!

  • Max McGruder

Ivars, nice group of lookers ya got there!
