The third Wednesday is fast approaching....

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Yes. I feel it in my bones. My hit-enter-button finger is itchy.

  • Paul Work

So what and how many is it gonna be?

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

I'm a little short this month (it's a long boring story), but one that I will get, come hailstones or high water, is a pearl 33. After that.......it hurts trying to decide. I'm gonna pop a vessel.

  • Billy Oneale

I like the Deep Canyon. Good looking stuff.

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

You're right Billy, that Deep Canyon is good looking!

Saw a picture of the new jigged Buffalo horn. I like it.

And, the word is, a Seahorse will be made with it and out around October.

  • Jan Carter

Seahorse, breaking fee of the vault?  Someone get the smelling salts for JJ

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Yep, the Seahorse be a comin'!  Can you hear the hoof beats....or, uh splashes?

Here's a picture of the Jigged Buffalo Horn....

I did the deed. Knife stuff in coming.

  • Tobias Gibson

Okay... I'm coming out of the closet.  I do not like the Seahorse Whittler.  I know I'm supposed to but I don't.  There I said it.  (and yes I do suddenly feel like I'm in that dream where you find yourself back in high school sitting at your desk naked.)

  • Paul Work

    That was a dream?....

The Seahorse is a good basic "Wharncliffe" pattern. I've always liked that type of pattern, therefore I like the Case Seahorse.

  • Lee Smith

I need the Jigged Buffalo Horn

  • Paul Work

I like the Seahorse.  I'd like it better as a half whittler.  I'm weird that way.

  • Tobias Gibson

I do believe it is very popular.  I'm very happy for those who collect them.  I can think of several patterns I'd rather see produced, however.

  • Jan Carter

LOL, it was the predecessor to the seahorse that got me hooked so I still love it

And.......I have just joined the Seahorse club.

Lee Smith - "I need the Jigged Buffalo Horn"

    There's supposed to be a Stockman too. I'm hoping it's the 33, 032, or 75.

  • Howard P Reynolds

Hahahaha.  Way to go Tobias!  Can't like every pattern or you'd be broke collectin em; especially on that "Third Wednesday" "Fixed Income".  Not to mention that if a guy likes every pattern he's wishy-washy and can't take a stand/make a decision (unless he's rich as Croesus where he can buy em all).  Now, a Canoe don't look nuttin like a Congress, and a fella can like both but I understand if he likes one or the other.  Couldn't give me a Cheetah, but if folks like em it's okay with me.  Naturally, they are a bit off plumb, but as they say down south: "Bless their hearts".  Hahahahaha.

Well, on this haul, I have several "firsts". First Seahorse, first Case Congress, and first Case pearl (33 Stockman).

    Now, can I be patient?

Oh yes, I also ordered a Case cap.....the one with the mesh back......for my hot head.

Hey, look at this.........Snow Leopard Jasper

  • Clint Thompson

    Craig...

    Snow Leopard Jasper Stockman.  Nice.

  • Howard P Reynolds

That is pretty enough for a dress knife.

  • Paul Work

    You need that Craig.

  • Max McGruder

I have to say that the Jigged Buffalo horn looks purdy good! I like that one for sure!

  • Howard P Reynolds

    Great looking Case knives!

  • Bill Fletcher

Nice shipment of knives Ivars.  I like em all!

  • Max McGruder

Ivars, nice group of lookers ya got there!
  • Max McGruder

Sounds great on those firsts. Cant wait to see them.

The hat is a nice one with the mesh! Maybe it will cool that hot head!

    Craig Henry

Great looking haul of Case knives Ivars!

That Snow Leopard Jasper is really cool, but I'm on kind of a quest to get some Case pearls. I have to see how much the voices in my head bug me about it.

Well, I guess I find out soon if the Seahorse measures up to all the "hype". LOL!  We'll all be in JJ's Secret Seahorse Society.

Yeah, I'm anxious to get them Max. They will help decide some things for me too.

  • Paul Work

The Seahorse is sweet, but it ain't bumping my Norfolks and Humpbacks.

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

I DO want a Humpback Whittler.....both full and half. I've been looking at this one lately............

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

After I get my Seahorse, it will help me decide if I want to go ahead and get this one.............

  • Paul Work

I'm a half whittler (half whit?) kinda guy.

  • Paul Work

    Go for it Craig!

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

I used to be sort of a two-blade kinda guy. But then I decided it was cool to have three different blades in what is the same size frame as the two blade version. But I'm not adverse to a two blader.

Let's see, going by your posts, you're a bone head half whit?

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Is that all you can say all the time; "Go for it Craig!"? You're not helping my condition.

  • Paul Work

Bone head half whit....Have you been talking to my wife?  LOL

Let's try this one....You should get that Craig!   Mwa-ha-ha

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

No, you're wife doesn't say anything that nice about you.

Hey, Cass just told me she got another bonus from work. She said she will buy a knife of my (and her) choosing for me. Hmmm.......

  • Paul Work

I hear pearl is the in-thing this season...

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

I showed her the Snow Leopard Jasper. She likes. We'll see.

  • Paul Work

    Good luck!

  • Max McGruder

Snow Leopard is nice but this is my favorite! Purple Spiney Oyster

  • Paul Work

    Them's purty.

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Wow, those ARE......uh.....wow. Hmmm, I really like that Snow Leopard......but the Purple Oyster is really nice too.

  • Howard P Reynolds

Saaay, do you have to live in Texas to get a toothpick?  These are two nice ones, Max.

  • Billy Oneale

    I like them both.

  • Featured

    Craig Henry

Ok since Cass is half of the deciding factor, it's the Snow Leopard. I love those pearl strips in it.  The Purple Spiny Oyster will have to wait until......sometime.....maybe next month?

  • Jean-François

I would like a 4047P Jigged Buffalo Horn!!!
