I'm a little short this month (it's a long boring story), but one that I will get, come hailstones or high water, is a pearl 33. After that.......it hurts trying to decide. I'm gonna pop a vessel.
Okay... I'm coming out of the closet. I do not like the Seahorse Whittler. I know I'm supposed to but I don't. There I said it. (and yes I do suddenly feel like I'm in that dream where you find yourself back in high school sitting at your desk naked.)
Hahahaha. Way to go Tobias! Can't like every pattern or you'd be broke collectin em; especially on that "Third Wednesday" "Fixed Income". Not to mention that if a guy likes every pattern he's wishy-washy and can't take a stand/make a decision (unless he's rich as Croesus where he can buy em all). Now, a Canoe don't look nuttin like a Congress, and a fella can like both but I understand if he likes one or the other. Couldn't give me a Cheetah, but if folks like em it's okay with me. Naturally, they are a bit off plumb, but as they say down south: "Bless their hearts". Hahahahaha.
That Snow Leopard Jasper is really cool, but I'm on kind of a quest to get some Case pearls. I have to see how much the voices in my head bug me about it.
Well, I guess I find out soon if the Seahorse measures up to all the "hype". LOL! We'll all be in JJ's Secret Seahorse Society.
Yeah, I'm anxious to get them Max. They will help decide some things for me too.
I used to be sort of a two-blade kinda guy. But then I decided it was cool to have three different blades in what is the same size frame as the two blade version. But I'm not adverse to a two blader.
Let's see, going by your posts, you're a bone head half whit?
Ok since Cass is half of the deciding factor, it's the Snow Leopard. I love those pearl strips in it. The Purple Spiny Oyster will have to wait until......sometime.....maybe next month?

The Seahorse is a good basic "Wharncliffe" pattern. I've always liked that type of pattern, therefore I like the Case Seahorse.

I like the Seahorse. I'd like it better as a half whittler. I'm weird that way.

I do believe it is very popular. I'm very happy for those who collect them. I can think of several patterns I'd rather see produced, however.

There's supposed to be a Stockman too. I'm hoping it's the 33, 032, or 75.

Well, on this haul, I have several "firsts". First Seahorse, first Case Congress, and first Case pearl (33 Stockman).
Now, can I be patient?
Oh yes, I also ordered a Case cap.....the one with the mesh back......for my hot head.
