I THINK, the Trappers with Osage Orange handles and the "XX" on the bolster were made for Deadwood Knives. I think. And it hurts to think.

Thanks Max.  One thing nice about collecting Mini Blackhorns is that they are not expensive.

Because of comments here about the Mini Blackhorn, I picked one up a month or so ago at Lowes. It is my new letter opener.  You have a nice collection, Charles.  It is a shame that Case doesn't date these.

Forgot to mention, Charles, I saw an NWTF Mini Blackhorn at casexxknives.net #8906 $15.99.

Howard, I wish they did date all of them.  Of the eight that I have, four are dated and four aren't.

Craig, there are several Mini Blackhorns that I don't have yet.  Over time I hope to pick more of them up.  Right now I have four knives on order, a Case trapper and three Rough Riders.

Very nice collection Charles, they are good practical knives.

The Mini Blackhorn is one of Case's most under appreciated knives.

If I was into lockbacks, I'd have one or two. 

First Knife Mule Train of the new year will be here tomorrow......well, it's just gonna be one Mule since it's just one knife.

Anyone get any of the Marine Corps. knives yet? Saw some pictures over at CCC, and they look GREAT! I really need the Trapper!

i have a case saddlehorn i grabbed for a steal!.. i have another older vinatge PARKER saddlehore on its way now!..neat knives but what i would call pocket clunky!...LOL..nice belt sheath would go nice with them.IMO!
