    Q

  • Rick Hooper

I have a couple of CASE CLASSIC cheetahs in ivory for sale. Probaly need to sit on the ivory stockman , but would trade for Case Classic sunfish in stag or pearl. I have to ask what does a pre-ban ivory item ban accomplish?

  • Tobias Gibson

Rick the pre-ban ivory ban makes a selected group of the President's friends happy.  It is feel good legislation which has already proven a colossal failure in the reduction of poaching.

  • Jan Carter

    Congrats Max!!!!

Rick if the new law goes into effect, even the pre ban pieces will be on the no no list.  The folks that paid for the pre ban certificates will be SOL if they cannot date the material as imported over 100 years ago

I think some changes need to be made.

  • Waggoner, Alan

Well guys there are other knives around that are banned if you know what I mean. See if you can list a switchblade on ebay. But call it an auto and it will sell.

    I hope it's okay to post this;

All you Case collectors.......go look at the best kept secret in knife dealers.......over 10,000 Case knives (!)........all types and years.

Only thing is, you have to call to place an order. The stock shown on their site doesn't scratch the surface of what they have. You need to ask. They are trying to inventory the knives and get them on the site. Case told them they have the biggest inventory in the country of Case knives (Case knows what they have ordered over the years)!

It's been said that the XX greenbone was used in the 40s, the XXredbone aorund the 50s, and then a transition to the brown bone in the 60s. I knid of like the redbone myself!

  • Bryon Banks

That is a gorgeous redbone, Alan. One of my favorite patterns as well!
  • Ken Spielvogel

    Awesome looking Case Alan

  • Ken Spielvogel

    Great Video Jan - Thanks

    Craig Henry

Wow, that's really red looking in that picture!

My problem is....I like them all! LOL!

  • Waggoner, Alan

The flash or light on the exposure effects the richness of the redbone in the pic.

Guillermo, you might want to think about joining the Case Collectors Club, and they have a forum you can join once you join the club.  They'd love seeing that knife over there!
